I completed Dungeon Keeper base game earlier, and now I am on the second mission of the Deeper Dungeons add-on.

Dang it, I really have a serious love-hate relationship with this game. It is a kind of game that makes me forget about other games (now that I finally got a hang of the gameplay), but once again I feel I'm stuck in an unwinnable situation in the current mission. So I have a steady income of gold and I can freely train my minions to level 10... but that doesn't make much good since the two enemy keepers simply have more of level 10 creatures (30 + 30, compared to my max 20 creatures). If I go head to head with them, I'll just lose. If there is some special trick to this level, I don't see it.

Aargh, I think I need to install some FPS or adventure game and play them for awhile. Or maybe play some PS2 or PSOne game for awhile. I played TimeSplitters, but it is annoying me a bit too.

I have a nasty habit of being unable to resist the newest shiny game I receive, to the detriment of the games I was in the process of playing.

The games I'm playing today are Eschalon: Book One and Quest For Glory II.

At the moment I'm playing

Ghost pirates of Vooju until I get stuck and need a break :D
Lego Pirates of the Caribian coop modus with a friend, so only if both of us have time
Magicka if friends are playing it
Guild Wars, finishing some achievements before second part launches

The Last Remnant. Good so far, but lots of grinding to be done. Some boss battles are ridiculous.

Around 20 hours in, and about half way through the story. I've started, so i will finish.

The Witcher - currently at act III.

Mostly Forza Motorsport 4 as I am the organizer of a league.

Otherwise I fell into Ian's Two Swords, I mean Two Broken Ians,..., Broken Sword 2 that is.

I really loved Syberia as well. I have Syberia 2 in a Big Fish Games account but haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Will do at some point as the first one was one of my favorite games.

I'm not, I'm watching the olympics - but I am still playing Witcher

Haven't played for a few days now (no time). I'm planning to try Super Hero Squad Online to decide if it's worth getting my almost-4-year-old to try it, and also try The Time Tribe closed beta.

I take comfort in knowing that I'm not the only person thinking that the XBox Halo 2 (Legendary) is an insanely hard game, considerably harder than any other Halo game (I've played only Halo 1 before on PC, and it was muuuch easier on Legendary). At least if these youtube comments are to be believed.

(some comments claim that is not really Legendary difficulty level, I can't say for sure... some areas do seem have less enemies that I remember encountering, but then it is a bit hard to see all in that fuzzy video.)

In fact many seem to feel this very first level, where I'm still stuck, is possibly the single hardest part in the whole game (which seems to be generally considered the hardest Halo game to date). Apparently later there will be some enemy snipers which can kill you with one hit, that sounds rather unpleasant too...

As one of the commentators put it (something like this): "Halo 2 Legendary was Bungie's way of trolling us gamers.". Sounds about right.

Anyway, I'm still up for the challenge, I haven't given up quite yet especially as the reports indicate it gets easier after that part. In fact, earlier today I was quite close to clearing that area (only three enemy soldiers left, and I still had some plasma grenades; I guess I got lucky or something.)

But then the power failed. Not in the game, but at my home. Ha ha. So much for that game. The power came back after a minute or so.

That reminds me why I like laptops: it didn't care about the power failure at all, it just kept running despite it. If only I had been playing the PC version of Halo 2 on it.

Oh yeah, I'll have to make some advancement in the damn game soon, because my gf comes back home in two days. After that I know I won't be playing much console games on our only TV set, so not much Halo 2 for me anymore either.

CivCity Rome.

Not a bad game, of the type, but bugs at times; logical ones and technical ones.

It can be beaten, easy enough, though, but Caesar 4 is better (even with their poor implementation of walls.)

Locomotion - It's much more enjoyable than the naysayers seem to imply. As it is, I'm having a lot of fun with the game. It probably also helps that I remember rather little of the little bit I've played of Transport Tycoon way back, so I have relatively little to compare it to.

I put Stronghold on hold yet again. I swear that one of these days I will actually finish the game without resorting to complete restarts after very long periods of inactivity.
