After I saved in Avernum 3 in an area with no hope to survive and - "smart" as I am - only using one savegame, I had to start all over again.
In the meantime I played SotS the Pit Gold with Pilgrim, FTL, Space Quest IV - VI and started recently Leisure Suit Larry 1.
When I read the manual to LSL, I realized that the description of "old" Larry fits almost perfectly to me. Now I'm just depressed...

Right now I used to play some online games only. I spent more time on Facebook playing game. I like to play candy crush, paper panic and spot the difference.

I just finished playing my first few hours in Batman: Arkham Origins. It's pretty fun, but that first "real" boss was one of the worst boss encounters I've ever had the displeasure of trying to get through. That encounter was basically a ten minute long quick time event with no checkpoints between segments.

I've also been playing Edna & Harvey: The Breakout lately. It's a cool game, not very hard and has a great sense of humor and a likeable art style but...I'm not finding it particularly interesting as a game.

Playing Risen 2, and I love it! Enjoyable than any RPG I've played to date, including TW2.

Right now, it's Xenonauts and Steel Panthers: Main Battle Tank.

I will play some Dominions 3 later on, although I'm playing it by myself.

Currently playing CIV V. I won a diplo victory as Poland yesterday so I'm now playing as the next on the list: Russia. Got the fraking Huns next to me from the beginning so I have to play a bit more aggressively than my usual. Attila attacked me first but I was ready for him, after a few turn he lost his bloodlust and offered a city for peace. The peace treaty is now over so I'll be making preparations to take his capital soon.

Currently I'm busy gathering all those fine deals here and no time to play, lol

Somewhere in the middle it gets a bit boring, but the end is well made. There are too few games with a good ending.
I don't know how well it's translated into English though.

Started Clash of Clans on my tablet. It's a very casual strategy game, but my brother, cousin and nephew are playing it, so once I have 60.000 gp's to start building on the clan castle, I'll join their clan and have some fun online with them.

Metro 2033. It was one of my first purchases in my first Steam sale in 2011. I started playing it back then, but for some reason had to stop, and wasn't able to get back to it. I started a new game about a week or two ago and I'm now in chapter 4, the point where I stopped when I first played it. Hopefully, I'll finish it this time.

After finishing The Witcher for the 2nd time I finally started TW2. And boy that combat system takes time getting used to. After a whole weekend of experimenting (and rebinding nearly all keys) I seem to get the hang of it. Don't get cornered, don't get surrounded. There is no group style mode, forget blocking if you want to use signs, rather evade. The tutorial's hint fast attack against quick enemies, strong attack against armored enemies is basically bullshit. Combos (strong, strong, quick, evade) cut down most enemies in no time.
I'm still in the prologue though.

I'm playing Machinarium. I love well thought out puzzle games.

I can now understand what the heck the characters are talking about. Sure, I'll miss the famous "Bullshit! Ultra failed attack!" line, but I'm liking the patch so far.

The game itself is still a mess. But it's glorious.

I just finished GeneForge 1 (my first ever Spiderweb Software game) and absolutely loved the world it was set in. So fresh, and the storytelling was fantastic. Really felt as though my choices had a bearing on the outcomes of the game...a true rpg gem. Graphics and sound were minimal by today's standards, on par with Fallout 1 and 2, but really...this was the kind of game you play for the content.

So after finishing GF1 (and having bought the rest of the entire Spiderweb bundle during a flash sale last week), I decided I'm not done with the world of GeneForge just yet. I just started GF2 with a completely different character, with a whole new background, set of morals, and ambitions. Should be quite interesting to see how it pans out. I have very high hopes for this series.
