Mission 4 - Turn 7, Dragon Turtle
*Next turn starts 5 AM UTC, 29 November

Seeing the dark thing arising, Argy whistles. Some impulse overtakes her and she skillfully tosses the magical lantern to Aeshma. This item is said to cut through *any* darkness, and has proven useful before, during the Ship attack. They might need it more than her. Once Durik regains his senses, she agrees with his plan: "Let's do it, matey!" Argy gives the goo jar to Durik: "Do. Not. Eat. Spread this here thin' on any black stone fallin' o'er 'ere."

Pugwash hears Aeshma's scream and focuses on the cause. Trusting in the effects of the Music Box to protect him, Pugwash loads an explosive bolt into his crossbow, and fires it at the spring monster. (roll dice) The bolt hits near one of the many eyes, tearing a bleeding hole and the thing flinches. (roll dice - Luck) Beating his best timing ever, Pugwash rapidly reloads with another explosive bolt and fires again. (roll dice) This time the bolt is intercepted by a tentacle, which is blown off midway, attracting the Terror's attention. A tentacle shoots out towards him as one of the eyes focuses on him and he feels the attempt to invade his mind. (roll dice) Pugwash stumbles backwards to evade the tentacle that cannot quite reach him. (roll dice) He feels the terror at the edge of his mind and concentrates on the Music Box, but also has to look away to fully stop the effect. His hands are trembling as he tries to reload.

What happened? Durik stood still instead of smashing Chuulpion? Bad orc! But good tiny saved him. Thanks Argy! Durik asks again if tiny Argy wants to deal with the getting the black stone from the Stone Elemental while Durik distracts it. He wasn't sure if he could fight with the Night Terror, since the last time his cudgel didn't work against tentacled monsters. Hearing her agreement, Durik moves to distract the nearest hostile Stone Elemental, tempting it further into the Grove hoping Argy will have an easier time climbing up it to get the black stone while staying away from the Terror.

The Stone Elemental swings for Durik (roll dice) but Durik ducks out of the way. (roll dice) The Stone Elemental stomps, jolting the ground. (roll dice) Durik manages to keep his footing and dodge behind a tree.

Argy takes a kitchen knife and grabs it with her teeth. (roll dice) While Durik distracts the Stone Elemental, she climbs to the back of it. (roll dice) She slips during the stomp, but manages to stop herself in time. (roll dice) Working deftly with the knife she pries out the black stone and flings it off towards Durik's position. The Stone Elemental stops, then turns to attack the Terror with Argy still on its back.

(roll dice) Not wanting a repeat of the stun and remembering Argy's words, Durik smashes the jar on the black stone just as the Chuulpion begins to unroll. (roll dice) The Chuulpion immediately begins to foam at the tentacled mouth and jerks about, then goes still and dead.

The now neutral Stone Elemental with Argy on its back throws a stone fist at the Terror invading the Spring it was set to guard so long ago. (roll dice) Argy jumps just as a tentacle flings the Stone Elemental back. (roll dice) Argy dexterously lands and rolls and scrambles away.

Bellandra scowls at missing the harpy, but from the sounds of the remaining harpies' pained shrieks to the east it seems Aylar and Grog'tial atop the Griffon have done well against them. As she feared, the tunnel led more monsters to them, Chuulpions this time. Thankfully their shrills had not affected her, Baldbeard or Mighty too much, and they had been able to dispatch the arriving chuulpions and she had then been able to collapse the tunnel - partially at least. She was about to fire another explosive bolt into the tunnel to collapse it properly, when the abomination arose from the spring and she knew they were in danger of being overwhelmed. This took priority.

Bellandra quickly looks at the Terror through the Mirror, seeking any hidden weak spots (roll dice) but sees none, just black glistening tentacles marked with sickly green dripping skulls (poison) and the many eyes having a blood red aura with flashes of reddish lightning. She turns and fires the loaded explosive bolt at one of the eyes, hoping to either disable its gaze, or at least blind it temporarily, so that it would not be able to cause terror to the party. (roll dice) The bolt hits, blowing the eye out completely and leaving a gaping hole ... (roll dice) but now the hole where the eye used to be festers and from it crawls two insect winged Chuulpions, which immediately shrill and then take flight for Aeshma. (roll dice) Fail! (roll dice) Bellandra is stunned (this turn) and a tentacle grabs her and whips her about before tossing her into a tree. (roll dice) She resists the poison, but is badly bruised and has cracked ribs, making it harder to breathe.

(roll dice - resists) Mighty prays to Monkey God, hoping that with three heads one is open for business and not too busy eating Divine Bananas. (roll dice-*!) Still feeling a bit dazed and stressed, he could almost swear he hears Son of Great Three-Headed Monkey God speaking to him, telling him to jump in air and sing-call to Crab with his whole mind and heart for help. Son of Monkey God hoots - Do It! Mighty focuses on the claw invoking its powers and jumps, calling out to Crab in a sing-song voice. (roll dice-Luck) The Claw begins to grow immense at a fast rate of speed, taking over Mighty and transforming him! Mighty is now a huge male crab fully armored and the size of an Abrams battletank large enough to carry the entire Crew (26' wide, 12' long and 9.8' tall - 7.93mx3.66mx3m), with one huge claw and one smaller claw. (roll dice) Mighty leaps forward and the larger Claw snips off the tentacle that attacked Bellandra. (roll dice) No longer able to hide behind the Stone Elementals, instead Mighty advances on the Terror, using the large claw to shield himself and refusing to look into the eyes.

(roll dice - resists) Pugwash has reloaded with a normal bolt and is about to shoot at an eye when he sees the flying Chuulpions headed for Aeshma. He fires. (roll dice) The bolt scores a headshot, sending one Chuulpion to the ground where Mighty's Claw crushes it into goo. He is still out of range of the tentacles.

(roll dice) The lone hostile Stone Elemental is grappling with the Spider trying to web it when a tentacle picks them up and uses them as a club against Mighty. (roll dice) Mighty manages to block the first blow with his Claw, (roll dice) but the backhand catches him just enough off guard to flip him backwards. (roll dice) Mighty is unharmed, but now must use his Claw to flip himself over again. The tentacle tries to beat on his lesser protected underside. (roll dice) Mighty manages to snip the tentacle, but ends up dropping the Stone Elemental and now battered Spider on himself. Mighty has a bruised and aching torso, and needs to flip himself back over.

As soon as Gilius finishes controlling the two Stone Elementals, he commands the roots to let them go. Once freed, he commands them to be wary of the hostile Stone Elementals and to interpose themselves if they come towards the Crew. He commands them to try to either pry the black stone off and to smash the Chuulpion that would appear, or even to smash the stone directly depending on the opportunity. Once the Chuulpion is killed, they should stop fighting the elemental that spawned it and concentrate on protecting the Crew from any attack coming from the monster at the Spring. The friendly Stone Elemental nearest Mighty accepts the command and immediately goes to help, pounding on the hostile Stone Elemental while the Spider continues to poke at the black stone. (roll dice) The black stone falls out, a Chuulpion unwinds and shrills just before the friendly Stone Elemental crushes it. (roll dice) Argy is stunned! (this turn)

(roll dice - resists) Gilius grabs his holy water, gets closer to the monster and throws it at it. (roll dice) The Terror recoils somewhat, then strikes back with a tentacle, grabbing Gilius and throwing him backwards. (roll dice) Gilius is poisoned and begins to writhe on the ground in tormenting pain! But he lands on softer ground and is unharmed otherwise. [poisoned, moderate HP drain and Writhing Torment 4 turns or until Cured.]

Count Karnstein takes cover behind the close Allied Stone Elemental as Gilius is releasing it from the vines and yells "Cover yer eyes!" before throwing Flash Powder in the Monstrosity's eyes, hopefully making it temporarily blind, disoriented and enraged. (roll dice) He gets his wish - the part nearest him is blinded, and most definitely ENRAGED! (roll dice) The Terror spins in place, turning another side towards the Count and Aeshma. It shimmers and folds inside out, hatching forth two more flying Chuulpions to send at them. The Chuulpions shrill and launch. (roll dice) Fail! Count manages to slice the first Chuulpion down, but the second shrill stuns him (this turn). It then launches for Aeshma as a tentacle grapples with the Stone Elemental trying to protect Count Karnstein.

(... continued from above.)

[per previous PM intent] (roll dice) Captain Baldbeard's ears still ring and so the Chuulpions' shrills do not affect him. The pack attack the flying Chuulpions heading for Aeshma and encircle her until Baldbeard himself can get to her. He stops to check on Gilius but there is nothing he can do. Hefting his cudgel, he quickly moves to defend Aeshma who seems stunned, (roll dice) dragging her behind a tree and parrying away another tentacle of the enraged Terror. (roll dice) A tentacle manages to sneak behind and grab Aeshma. (roll dice) Captain Baldbeard immediately bashes it and his sharks attempt to savage it, but somehow they are weakened against it and only manage to tear off small pieces. (roll dice) Captain Baldbeard pulls Aeshma free and bashes away another tentacle, pulling her further back into the Grove while the pack still harry and attack any tentacles that seek to follow. He turns the Magic Lantern down and hopes his new ring keeps him from weakening from its Cold Fire.

(roll dice) Aeshma catches the Magic Lantern from Argy and nods. It might work. Then the new flying Chuulpions shrill. Fail! Aeshma is stunned by the Chuulpion shrills (this turn), but luckily not poisoned by the tentacle.

The Crew near the Terror feel it trying to push at their minds, but so far the Charms Aeshma gave them are helping them to resist.

-----
Grog'tial gulps as he sees the monster rise. He sighs deeply as his mind immediately reaches the conclusion that he finds himself on the Griffon with the wrong companion. He figures there's no way the Captain will let the rest of the crew face this enemy by themselves. Why did he ever think it was a good idea to get into this position where someone else could determine if he'd live or die? He'd thought that on the Griffon he'd be safely out of harm's reach, but instead they'll be flying straight toward it, and he doesn't have any control over it. This was the very thing he'd been working to avoid for most of his life! He holds very still, hoping that he's wrong, his mind trying to think of anything to give them an advantage. Grog'tial decides to keep quiet for the moment, but decides if, more likely when he grumbles to himself, the Captain decides to go play hero, he'll ask to at least first do a single swoop low over the Chuul below, so he can blow his shell and prevent those Chuul from following them to the grove for the next 15 minutes. Then hope it works.

Aylar does as asked and directs the Griffon to do a sweep low enough fer the song of the shell to reach the crowding Chuul below. He holds his cutlass at the ready in his hand to slice at any that might try to jump up to reach them. Grog'tial gets his shell ready and hopes it works. (roll dice) The first pass nothing happens. Aylar looks over his shoulder at him and sees Grog'tial's confusion and slight alarm. (roll dice) Aylar brings the Griffon around again but this time two Chuul leap to grab at the Griffon. (roll dice) Aylar severs the pincer of the closest at the joint and the Griffon kicks the other. Desperate now, Grog'tial blows his shell again (roll dice) breathing out in relief as her song sounds. (roll dice) All but one are mesmerized. (roll dice) Aylar circles the Griffon one last time and cuts down the unmesmerized Chuul at speed, before it can grab anyone.

"We be needing to land," Aylar warns Grog'tial. "The storm be coming back verra soon, rendering the air unsafe fer flight. Much as I be liking to rejoin the rest of the Crew, the Griffon nae able to land easily in the thick of the trees. It be best to land in the clearing closer to it. We be best to utilizing our remaining time in the air to attack and be utterly rid of the three Chuul that be heading fer the Grove, or at the very least to hold them off." He attempts to hopefully communicate the sense of approaching danger and combat to the Griffon as well.

Hearing Aylar's plan, which goes nicely along with his own, Grog'tial swiftly loads a stun bolt and prepares the shot. Due to the delay with the shell, the three Chuul are already at the edge of the Grove when they reach them. (roll dice) Whether it's sheer adrenaline or just gratefulness to not be heading straight for the Terror, Grog'tial aces the shot and all three Chuul are stunned. (1d4 = 3 turns)

Aylar lands the Griffon at the edge of the Grove and moves to cut down the stunned Chuul. (roll dice) He slices off the tentacles, being careful not to touch them, then uses the chance to cut upwards from underneath the softer part of the head into the brain. Meanwhile Grog'tial loads a hardened bolt and takes a head shot at one of the stunned Chuul before he dismounts the Griffon.

Even though Aylar is trying to focus at the task at hand and dealing strictly with what their group would be best to deal with at that moment, his thoughts be wandering to that beast in the Grove. Just what be it? he asks, trying to reach out to Clíodhna.

Clíodhna searches her memories of previous 'lives' (roll dice) and Aylar actually catches glimpses of the Tuatha de and an oath before Lugh among them and stories, so many stories as she is rapidly sorting through centuries. He wonders if he really hears her quietly cursing in Old Fae. Something Old. Older than I am, she adds wryly. Something from the Deep Magick it must be, possibly summoned from another plane, twisted, mashed together with something to anchor it in this world, but not quite like the shadows. Ye should be immune to its terrors, but I be not knowing if ye Fey Charm be working on it. He feels her reaching outward, sensing. (roll dice) Aylar, use the feather. I know ye be not a mage, but ye have Talent and the Will. Ye have to draw the Light to protect them! Trust yerself, and trust me to steady ye. Focus. Find the Light in the feather, draw it to ye, then push it through the weave. Surround yerself and them with it through their own Charms Aeshma gave them. Then if ye can, draw upon the storm in yer blood and use yer wailing wind to punch the Light right through it. Until it be weakened enough for Aeshma to be using what I gave her, its the best I be thinking of.

Without him being Griffonback in the air, she can no longer see the Terror or him from her position in the Crow's Nest. Clíodhna launches herself into the sky above the Ship to keep watch as she maintains the increased power through Aylar's Feather Charm and prepares to reinforce and steady him, sending him her complete confidence and faith through the link. She does not mind the threatened return of the storm as her spectral wings should be able to take it. Then she feels the Dragon Turtle stir awake, and takes another portion of her mental power to send a pulse of Calm through to Kyp as well.

-----
Seeing the eye of the Dragon Turtle open, Kyp is unsure of what to think. This could be bad if the Turtle is enraged, but can be good if the Turtle is pleased and will be a friend. [via PM] Kyp moves slowly, so as to not alarm the Turtle or appear aggressive, to a safe position where she can see him better. He feels a calming in the back of his mind and another reinforcement of his inner 'voice'. "Hello friend, how do you fare? My crew and I are friends on a mission to help you and the surrounding area, so it would be very big help if you let us complete our mission before you move a whole lot."

(roll dice) The Dragon Turtle considers Kyp warily, but she also remembers his previous words and feels a calming presense and a fellowship within him. This tiny half-mer took away the netting binding her head and then relieved her of the irritating and terrifying creature that other being had stuffed in her ear. (roll dice) She comes to more awareness, scanning the Ship nearby, but it does not carry much gold or treasure for her. [GM Note - Like most dragons, Dragon Turtles desire and will attack to gain treasure, especially gold - we be light on that currently so don't warrant an attack by her.] (roll dice) She pauses, looking steadily at Kyp, who continues to radiate a calm and friendliness, then she scans the Ship again, picking up ... something familiar.

(roll dice) Kyp feels a presence and hears another voice, like the sea itself, backing him up suddenly.

- Sister, Kyp is correct, they seek to free you and protect your eggs. It is the beast below which seeks to enslave you and your young. Help them help you and this sea. Kyp has already proven himself your friend. Show him what is needed and they will do it. -

(roll dice) The Dragon Turtle's eyes open wider as she hears and instinctively recognizes the voice. These were his seas once. One not unlike herself, but this one a protector, a defender, a Captain, a friend. Is this one of his? Slowly she regards Kyp again (roll dice) and Kyp feels a friendship offered. She then communicates to him a doorway inside a place of seaglass that leads to an ancient place where Kyp and the Crew must make things right again to balance the magick of this sea. (roll dice) Kyp realizes the Dragon Turtle is showing him a way to portal into the temple from one of the seaglass buildings on her back! He needs to tell the Admiral and the Captain and Crew.

(... continued from above.)

Clíodhna feels the essence rising from the heart of the Ship and hears the voice. She quickly uses even more power to shield it. No. We're too close ... too close, you'll be heard! Then she picks up on the message being relayed to Kyp just as the storm winds begin to assault her and she sees the Merrow and other creatures gathering in greater numbers, waiting for the storm to engulf her and the Ship.

Aylar, the Dragon Turtle be telling Kyp one of the seaglass buildings contains a portal to the temple below. Ye may be having incoming reinforcements from the enemy soon, she says steadily as she sends the Ship orders for the phantoms to man the guns and prepare to repel any boarders, along with another portion of power to reinforce its energies. She'll need to get Kyp back aboard before she can raise any shields. Then she reconsiders. They'll be after the Ship, not the Dragon Turtle. She sends a message to Kyp to stay with the Dragon Turtle, the Turtle will keep him safer. Clíodhna looks out at the gathering forces again as the Storm finally breaks over her and sends one more message to Aylar. I may be having to move the Ship but not far. Do what ye need to do, Captain. The Dragon Turtle understands and be friendly. We be fine.

GM Note - for those stunned, you can post your actions as coming out of it for this next turn and what actions you might like to take. It will depend on the dice as to how much of that action you can do. Gilius needs a Cure Poison. Bellandra can use a Heal.

Adding a reminder to those who haven't yet voted for MVP to please vote in the next couple of days. Thank you!

Durik noticed that Argy was stunned:
"Oh, tiny frozen too. No worry me carry you lol."

He then noticed that other crewmembers were in trouble, so he went to rescue them:

- he gave Gilius his Cure Poison potion (maybe passed it to Pugwash who was nearby him, to save time)
Also temporally left Argy in Pug's care, if it was safer.

- he tried to flip Mighty-crab by hand. If it didn't work, he carefully used his kickback cudgel.

- the count and Aesma were closer to Baldbeard, so he expected him to save them. If not, he went to carry them to safety too.

- Bellandra seemed out of the range of the tentacles and had her own Healing Potion, so he left her for last, unless something happened.

He only dealt with the Terror monster to deflect his eventual attacks, otherwise he ignored it.

If Gilius gets Durik's Cure Poison potion, he will gladly take it and drink it.

If he gets better, he will stand up, try to recollect his thoughts, and continue the actions he had in mind :

He will then focus on the energy of nature around him and try to awaken all the remaining neutral stone elementals.

He will ask the northwesternmost stone elemental near Mighty to help him to get back on its feet (or legs, or whatever...), and the southeasternmost non-webbed one (if Gilius successfuly awakened it) to help its neighbour to free itself from the web around it. If Gilius didn't successfuly awaken the non-webbed one but did awaken the webbed one, he will command it to try to free itself instead.

After that, he will command all available stone elementals to run towards the terror monster, to try to grab him by whatever they can get a hold on, and to get back to try to stretch him as much as their strength permits, immobilizing, and possibly hurting him in the process.

If they succeed to catch him, Gilius will concentrate and try using his quartz crystal directly on the monster to try and see if it affects him.

Finally, if he still has time to act, Gilius will concentrate and try to sense if there is still any life form living in the grove (or even under the grove) that may be hiding itself from the evil forces, and call for it to join in the fight in any way it can to help.
If Count is unstunned, he will first cut off tentacle grappling the elemental. He will then go clockwise, using other elementals as cover and freeing the webbed one, until he faces blinded side of the monster. If he manages to do that, he will charge at it, aiming to plunge saber deep as high as he can and pull down, slitting it open, followed by throwing holy water into the wound and hasty retreat to safer distance.

If he'd done all this and there would seem like many chuulpions are about to fly out, Count will drink frost potion and blow at it.

Once recovered from her stun, Argy will look for any crewmates in need of medical help (like Bellandra) and provide them with a potion or bandage from her inventory. Once done so, she'll smash any remaining Chuulpion around.

If the Terror Monster is the only menace around, she'll apply the Fire Oil to her pan and join the fight against the thing. When reaching for her oil flask, she'll touch a cupcake in one of her pockets "What if...? The turtle would barely notice such explosion on her huge thick shell... but, nevermind..." She'll keep the cupcake as a last resort, if many lives are at stake.
Grog'tial is glad to once more have firm ground under his feet. Glad, but befuddled at the lack of heroics from the captain. He was fully expecting him to ram the Griffon into the monster or something (since they saw it halfway across the island, there should've been enough space between the trees for a foolhardy plan like that), or maybe shoot out Clíodhna's fire through his cutlass, or who knows what other outlandish thing he can do with the magic powers he has acquired - yet instead got this landing at the edge of the grove. Ah well - at least he's now once again fully in control of his own destiny. And from the cries of pain sounding through the trees, he figures the crew is once again direly in need of someone to come save the day, despite them not even having to deal with the massed Chuul.

Hurrying toward the crew through the trees, Grog'tial is wondering why Gilius wasn't just magicking the approaching storm away again like he did on the ship. All this magic and these magic users just don't make any sense to his mind. Purifying the spring is all good and dandy, but clearly their priority needs to be on wrapping up here, and moving on to take out this Aboleth with his brilliant plan - to stop it from sending any more of those shadow creatures after him! (N.B. This is just Grog'tial being full of himself; not him knowing about Clíodhna's assessment of the plan, since she doesn't even know of the plan in the first place.) :P

When Grog'tial arrives at the spring, he takes stock of the situation.

If the monster is still alive, he remembers Clíodhna's words about the twisted corruptor feeding off fear, as well as her tactics in that fight, and takes a moment to breathe deeply, hearing his grandmother's song in his mind, thus deliberately growing calm:
- If no one is actively using the lantern:
-- He positions himself right next to the lantern, shoots a bolt at the monster (explosive if he can do so without endangering other crew, regular otherwise), then grabs the lantern to burn through the counter-attack.
- Otherwise:
-- He shoots a bolt at the monster (explosive if he can do so without endangering other crew, regular otherwise), then immediately grabs his dirk and his holy water, expecting a counter-attack and intending to avoid it, and immediately tosses the holy water into the opening provided by it, letting the monster exhaust itself through its own attacks.

If the monster is dead, but any Chuulpions are alive and in need of being taken out:
- He shoots them with hardened bolts.

If all enemies are dead, but any crew is is need of healing:
- He applies his Heal Wounds bandage to Bellandra, or he finds a Cure Poison potion for Gilius.

Afterward:
- He'll ask Gilius if he can calm the weather again.
- He'll remind Aylar and Count Karnstein of his plan for taking out the Aboleth. (If the Count still has his spider around, he stands as far away as possible, and effectively shouts at him.)

If Aylar has revealed that he's able to communicate with Clíodhna (e.g. by relaying the information about the coming reinforcements from the temple, which if necessary would cause Grog'tial to ask him how he knows), he'll ask Aylar to ask Clíodhna if there was any outcome from her research into making the remote viewing potion more effective for locating the Aboleth.

Mighty

"Mighty is really mad now! He will try to roll back so look out!"
Mighty will try to hit the ground with his right arm and at the same time move a center of gravity up and to the left by raising his left claw and all his left legs up and to the left. Mighty will try not to hit anyone from the crew if the will come near.
- If he is no able to flip back to his legs before anyone from crew approaches him, he will synchronize his action with those that will try to help him.
- If Mighty is on his legs and there is still time in this turn, he will try to jump back to take a running start and then attack the monster by ramming into it with his both claws in front of him

Chuul taken care of - the stun on those be only about fifteen minutes, be it enough fer us to claw out a victory? - Aylar dashes into the Grove, towards where he is aware the Crew be. The storm is not yet upon them, but he can smell the air, fresh and ringing with that particular anticipation of a squall approaching, like a nature's held breath. For a moment, part of him wonders if he could entreat the storm's lashing winds to aid them instead, once it comes. He focuses on the crimson feather woven into his hair in search of the Light Clíodhna spoke of, as he runs. It's a new territory, working with so few physical conduits - nothing but his charm in this task - so he has to wrap his mind around it as he goes, fer there be no time to spare. In a flash of inspiration, he reaches out to the feather with his thoughts, imagines an amber of glowing fire, one that needs to be stoked, fed, goaded into becoming a power to be reckoned with, and spools in a green shimmering thread of his innate magicks - one, two, three, many - to feed, contain and guide it to the other points in the weave - the carved wooden feather charms, Bellandra's rabbit foot, Baldbeard's bell, Mighty's monkey figurine -, once he be close enough.

If he successfully reaches the rest of the Crew and be able to gather enough Light power to attempt the casting, he will funnel it towards the Crew's charms. If it be possible for him to pick up on their present conditions, be it by what he be seeing or magickally through the weave, he will send more shielding power towards the stunned and severely hurt Crew first - Bellandra, Aeshma, Gilius, Count, and Argy.

He will stay out of the Monster's reach and will attempt to not attract any chuulpion's attention, if be possible (but will defend himself if accosted), determining his main task be funneling as much of his and Clíodhna's powers into the wards as the spell and the charms be able to handle, ready for the opportunity to launch a searing attack of Fire and Storm the Monster's way, once the Crew be in a better state and position, and he has gathered enough.

LordKaylar: Chuul taken care of - the stun on those be only about fifteen minutes, be it enough fer us to claw out a victory? -
- If the Terror be weakened and Aeshma be able to deliver our gift then Gilius may be able to set Stone and Grove upon the Chuul. - She replies. As well as calm the Storm.
Pugwash takes the Cure Poison potion from Durik and gives it to Gilius., helping him to drink it should the torment be too severe.

If Argy's stun hasn't worn off yet, Pugwash will ensure Argy is out of range of tentacles.

Noting that Aeshma is stunned, Pugwash will move to protect her from any monsters that threaten her. If none are apparent he will fire ordinary bolts at the terror monster, aiming for weak spots such as eyes.
Bellandra winced at the blow the abomination had delivered her, but her will to fight was undeterred. As soon as she was able to do so, she drank a health potion.

"If ye did not have weak spots before, foul one, perhaps I have created one for ye," she gasped out with gritted teeth. She quickly rubbed her rabbit's foot, hoping for good luck.

Bellandra planned to use her sextant to freeze the abomination, and then fire another explosive bolt at the monster as soon as she was able to do that, aiming at the gaping hole that her earlier bolt had created.

If the sextant did not work, she would nevertheless fire the bolt, hoping her aim was true.

If her condition did not allow her to do fire a bolt yet, she would still use the sextant, hoping that others would have the opportunity to make use of the abomination's frozen state.

If her condition did not allow her to use the sextant either, she would instead try to monitor the battle area through the mirror, looking for further hidden surprises and alerting the nearby party.

She would use her cutlass to fend off any enemies that wandered nearby until she was able to move around.

Kyp stays by the head of the dragon turtle, ready to have an underwater fight with whatever enemies may show up.

Kyp looks in the surrounding see for anything valuable or notable, he also asks the dragon turtle about any extra information that may be notable for the mission.

GM:Question
Does the other crew know needing to go to seaglass building or was I supposed to inform them?

Edit: Just in case kyp makes sure Cliodhna tells the others

Clíodhna picked up on it in your mind. It saved an entire turn's time. But Kyp can think it to her as well just so he knows he made sure to tell them. He's been working with Clíodhna on the reinforcing of his gift so he knows she can 'hear' him through that same connection he uses with the marine life. ;)
