shmerl: I'm not sure why it didn't get more backers yet. It shouldn't be any less interesting than Pillars of Eternity or Tides of Numenera.
Because the lowest 'get the game' tier is 25$ as compared to 15$ for other games. And 25$ for a not yet written game is a price where many will think "at that price, I'll wait and see whether it turns out OK". While 15$ is something more people are willing to risk on a game, where one doesn't know whether it will deliver.
The psychological barrier seems to be at 20$. The 5000 early backer spots for 20$ were quickly gone. While the 25$ spot didn't fill up quickly and is still below 1500 backers. I', quite sure, if they had choses the entry tier lower (say, 20$ general, 15$ early backer - or 20$ for all and some different early backer reward), they would have already reached their goal.
