Vainamoinen: Cancer is mostly the result of life. You name risk factors, these are valid. But they only increase a base chance that everybody of us has. That you can "basically prevent" cancer just because "you do everything right" is a stupid myth and it is a dangerous myth because it attempts to instill in cancer patients a feeling of guilt
rtcvb32: Not guilt, lack of training/knowledge. And it really doesn't help they put high fructose corn syrup in everything, use glyphosate on way to many veggies (which there's a number of studies say causes cancer), and many chemicals in many common products are absorbed in the body and are highly toxic, not to mention lack of nutrition in the food and drugs that kill gut bacteria... While i say 'preventable' i didn't say it was easy. Most people will be too lazy to change.
rtcvb32: The body is an amazing organism of engineering, which can heal itself if given the tools and opportunity; even extreme cases can be reversed.
Then there's faith/belief which can help someone by leaps and bounds; At least until that faith is shattered. The mind is also a powerful thing.
The misinformation you are spreading can cost people's lives and hurt people who think they could have stopped something they couldn't have prevented. Telling people to live healthy is a positive thing. Telling them they can beat cancer by living healthy is harmful.
