JudasIscariot: "Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492..." is this week's hint :)
How the hell am I suppose to deduce "Day of The Tentacle" from that?

I suppose there was that whole George Washington and Ben Franklin bit in it, and Columbus did discover America... ok.

Day of The Tentacle CONFIRMED!

Unfortunately I don't think it's Uncharted Waters or New Horizons...

That quotation is used on the Cultures 1 + 2 gamecard. The sentence in its entirety:

"Before Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492, the Vikings set out on their own journey of discovery and possible looting and pillaging."

So the hint could actually be for a viking-themed game, like Dusk of the Gods, Vikings: Fields of Conquest, Hammer of the Gods or Vikings: The Strategy of Ultimate Conquest.

simon.j: Dawn of Discovery a.k.a. Anno 1404?
1602 AD / Anno 1602: Creation of a New World would also be a possibility

The first viking themed game that came to my mind was King's Bounty Warriors of the North. Would make sense since the other KB games are here. *fingers crossed*
Anno 1503 maybe? I don't really know many games set it that time period.

OneFiercePuppy: Wow, Commodore64 flashback.

JMich: Was actually thinking of the one published by EA.
I hadn't played the DOS version, only the C64 version as well. Looks great!

Oh man, what if it's one of the Age of Empire games :o

I wish it would either be I or II, but based on the hint, it might be III.
If JudasIscariot would use word 'classic' my bet would be Theocracy or Gold of the Aztecs.
But apparently he did't so it seems incoming week on gog.com will be rather boring for classic games fans.
