Changelog from SteamDB:

Patch 1.7.7 Fixes a handful of bugs as we're getting back into the groove

Bug Fixes

• You can learn about the same location from reading books and maps in bookshelves only once.
• Scrying stones are placed as ‘big spots’ preventing them from accidentally blocking access to rooms.
• Sigil holders for machines don’t accidentally discard sigils on save-restore and/or switching between levels.
• The gates in Haven’s temple have the correct message when you inspect them after the prologue.
• Removes the mechanics that prevented you from claiming a site that isn’t “quite safe”.
• The journey onward / gain lead UI on the map for controllers behaves more consistently and no longer allows you to gain leads without spending rumors or knowledge points.

UBOAT

2024.1 Patch 11
Dear captains,

There is a new patch ready for version 2024.1.

Localization:
- Russian localization update by Hard.
- Japanese localization update by かねのもうじゃ.

UI:
- Added a new gameplay setting to determine, if dates in the game should be displayed in U.S. or British date format. This setting is present only when the game is running in English.
- Fix: Improved formatting of dates in all languages.
- Fix: Mouse wheel no longer zooms in or out the view, when mouse is over any scroll list or outside of game's window.
- Fix: Double clicking a portrait of any officer was entering into FPP mode of that officer in all cases with the exception of a radioman working in the radio room. It was changed to work consistently in his case too.
- Fix: Character role dropdown was scrolled very slowly when a mouse wheel was used for that.
- Fix: When a radioman was asking for resupply, the button for cancelling that request was flickering when hovered with a cursor and was hard to click.
- Fix: Changed the associated sound effect to a better fitting one when a bow decoration or torpedo paint is swapped.
- Fix: Resolution change confirmation popup background wasn't covering the entire screen in case of high resolutions and wasn't capturing clicks.

Graphics:
- Fix: On Type IID, rain could remain visible on a part of the deck in the side view after U-boat had submerged.
- Fix: Conning tower of the U-boat could sometimes appear too bright and washed out after loading a game state, in which there were NPC U-boats nearby that had the same emblem.
- Fix: Occlusion culling wasn't working correctly in Brest submarine pens. It was affecting performance a bit and there were errors in the game's log.
- Fix: Improved the look of a highlight on a diesel compressor on Type VII U-boats, previously it had an irregular shape that wasn't looking well.
- Fix: Diesel compressor internal elements, visible in the section view, were too bright.
- Fix: Foam spray behind dinghy departing from the U-boat was looking a bit wrong.

Crew:
- From now on, when an officer leaves the U-boat during an external interaction, his helpers are unassigned from him and it's also no longer possible to assign any new helpers when he is not on the ship.
- Fix: After diving below periscope depth, sometimes one of the sailors was moving around the boat, starting various actions and stopping them right away without a clear reason.

Simulation:
- Fix: It was too easy to sink ships with a 20 mm gun.
- Fix: On Type IIA and Type IID, the crew wasn't suffocating when air quality was dropping to zero. Also, water wasn't accumulating in the bilges as it should when realistic bilges were toggled on.

Missions:
- Fix: Quick mission completion button was requiring too much fuel to return to port.
- Fix: Mission with detonating a railway wasn't possible to complete in Czech.

Achievements:
- Fix: "Fresh air..." achievement could be received by loading a saved game state file from another player who completed it at any point in the loaded playthrough.

Modding:
- Fix: Modifiers to a DamageProtection parameter on ships weren't applied when they were defined in the sheets.
- Fix: Changes to equipment and entity modifiers in the data sheets are now updated in the loaded game states (although only to new instances of that equipment / entity).

World:
- Added better defences to Thames.
- Fix: Aesthetical fixes to Kiel.

General:
- Voice language is now set to English by default, when the game is launched for the first time and the game's language is English.
- Fix: When an automatic route was plotted from Kiel to areas north of Britain, the route was entering and leaving Kiel canal without need. It was also indirectly affecting tutorial #4, if it was started in Kiel.
- Fix: Certain hotkeys were accessible on a character customization screen and could cause various issues when used (for example, a hotkey for journal).
- Fix: Side view camera was sometimes positioning itself incorrectly, when it was simultaneously zoomed in or out and switched between the deck view and interior view.
- Fix: Fixes to several errors spotted in logs attached to bug reports.

Yours,
DWS

Heads Will Roll: Reforged [Part 1/2]

Standalone installer updated: [Windows, Linux] 1.09f1 ⇒ 1.5k2.
Patch 1.5k

Changelog of the patch 1.5k:
1. Lowered the soldier rep requirement for accessing Rennes.
2. Fixed an issue with eneimes sometimes taking infinite turns (often happened in Damanhur).
3. Fixed an issue with player still being able to sometimes die during the French interlude tournament despite the game telling you that it is not lethal.
4. Added another important low virtue event to Maidstone.
5. Completing Roger's quests now gives access to a specialized equipment shop.
6. Added random encounters with Scottish forces during the last chapter of Canterbury campaign and a reward\punishment for completing\not completing them.
7. Lowered dire wolves' weapon skill.
8. Fixed a bug that made player lose more than one item when giving consumables to allies.
9. Fixed a bug that made player lose one of the trinkets when using trinket presets if they had three or more of the same one.
10. During the Damanhur campaign Raymond's forces will now have 10 crusaders that will consequently spawn in fights until all of them are dead (previously there was only one ally for each fight).
11. Lowered the amount of enemies in some of the fights of the Damanhur campaign and some of the second DLC campaigns.
12. Fixed a bunch of smaller issues and incorrect interactions.

Patch 1.5j

Changelog:
1. Fixed an error that resulted in "player_fatigue_pool_displayable not defined" message.
2. Fixed several issues with incorrect Prestige value change when swapping weapons.
3. Added a button that allows to compate an item in inventory to the item that is currently equipped.
4. Shieldbreaker pendant, Red stone ring and Vitality rune now properly work on squad members.
5. Fixed an issue with incorrect ransom price when imprisoned by the French.
6. Fixed an issue that resulted in squad members attacking a dead enemy if that enemy was previously selected as their target.
7. Fixed an issue that resulted in some of the squad orders abruptly ending the current music track and starting a new one.
8. Added several new quests and events to Maidstone that are available through tavern.
9. Fair maiden's portrait has been reworked - its use conditions are now less harsh and it will also provide a unique bonus effect that depends on the girl that you have a maxed out relationship with.
10. Shieldbreaker pendant's bonus shield damage has been increased to 20.
11. Fixed a couple of other minor issues and errors.

Bugfixing patch 1.5i and injuries rework

Changelog:
1. Fixed several errors with orders during Maidstone's blacksmith questline.
2. Squad members now can be swapped with empty slots in the squad management window.
3. Fixed several incorrect interactions between fencing dagger and high-cover armor which resulted in fencing dagger not providing its bonus to the armor bypass chance.
4. Weapons and items in the manual character creation menu that are locked behind certain quests and boss challenges can now be unlocked on any difficulty level and not just on HWR.
5. Untreated injuries will no longer turn permanent and unhealable after some time - instead they will remain until the player treats them and, upon being treated, will return back all the deducted stats. However, several times during each chapter, at random points, untreated injuries will let themselves be known by triggering an event which will permanently deduct a tiny amount of stats from the player for each injury that he has. On top of that, each injury will block a corresponding training type, preventing the player from gaining new stats until the injury is removed.
6. Fixed a bug during a scavenge event that caused giving a poisoned man an antidote to yield no result.
7. Fixed an issue with player being able to receive maim injury multiple times in combat.
8. Fixed a couple of other minor issues and errors.

Bugfixing patch 1.5h is out now!

Changelog:
1. Fixed a bug with Leon from Lyon infinitely respawning after being killed.
2. Fixed another issue that sometimes caused the defense of Rennes to fail despite city's strength being equal to or massively surpassing mercenaries' strength (note: the capture of at least one farm is still required for a successful defense).
3. Added some more technical changes to the blacksmith questline in Maidstone in order to fix another instance of infinite loops that some players have been reporting.
4. Fixed a series of bugs that happened after the player would give a rotation of retreat order while not having enough stamina to do that. The order would be denied but the player would then be sometimes possible to take several turns in a row with all the other characters skipping theirs.
5. Fixed a bug that caused the catacombs effect during the assault on Windsor in Duncan's storyline to not correctly apply.
6. Added a bunch of other minor corrections.

Bugfixing patch 1.5g is out now!

Changelog:
1. Fixed a bug that prevented the player from equipping another two-handed weapon after he had a two-handed weapon break in combat.
2. Added civic talents to the manual character generation menu.
3. Reworked some of the requests in Maidsotne's blacksmith questline in order to make them easier to complete (requires campaign restart to take effect).
4. Handing over a full or two-thirds full bottle of poison to sergeant while completing his Drunkard quest would result in him giving some of it back to you.
5. Fixed Shamshir's incorrect attack icon.
6. Fixed an issue with "no weapon selected" error message that sometimes popped up after giving an ally a Zweihander.
7. Reworked scabbards: lowered their stat debuffs, rescaled weapon draw stamina cost (requires campaign restart to take effect).

9. Fixed a bug with "Proceed" button sometimes appearing during the Prepare for Battle phase.
10. Fixed the infinite loop bug that occurred in Oxford camp (this time for good).
11. Increased hit chance bonus on longswords' Counterstrike attack (from 15+15 to 20+20).

6. Every time a squad member is upgraded he will automatically receive a certain consumable item (depending on their class and level).
7. Alyssa's incomplete quests now correctly disappear if the player has taken Canterbury's story path.
8. Fixed several issues with Fair Maiden's Portrait trinket.
9. Added a fix to the infinite loop issue in Oxford camp that some players have been reporting (I'm not 100% sure that the issue is solved but the fix is likely to work - if it doesn't I'll come up with another one).

4. Added Damietta bazaar with a variety of different shops that contain all kinds of items.

6. Survival mode now has a shop where the player can buy and sell items in between rounds.

10. Added different colors to characters' names in dialogues.

2. Punishments for leaving an injuries untreated have been increased.
3. Mechanical crossbow has been reworked. Operating the crossbow will now require a certain amount of points in craftsmanship and crossbow skill. Repairing and unjamming the drum will now require specific items. Shooting in automatic modes will now generate a recoil that will decrease the accuracy (but is in turn decreased by strength).
Mechanical crossbow's price in manual character creation mode has been increased.
4. Crafting now consumes a tiny bit of time.
5. Item prices have been rebalanced and are overall more expensive now.

② Fixes and minor additions

5. Fixed a bug that could lead to Rennes being captured by the mercenaries despite the city strength score being way higher.

Knights of the Chalice 2

Updated to 1.75 for Windows and Mac.

Changelog from SteamDB:

Knights of the Chalice 2 Version 1.75

Hi everyone! Version 1.75 of Knights of the Chalice 2 has landed.

Today's update introduces high-resolution spell icons, which can also be used as dialogue icons. I hope you'll like them!

I'll post a new Kickstarter Update with screenshots in coming days.

• Graphics: Added a brand new set of high-resolution spell icons, featuring more than 600 new icons for spells and psionic powers.
• Graphics: Expanded the set of existing spell icons. For example, there are now unique icons for each version of the Summon Elemental spells.
• Graphics: Added a new option under 'Display' allowing you to revert to the classic set of spell icons, if you prefer that one.
• Module Editor: You can use the new spell icons in scripted dialogues. This works because the format of the new spell icons is the same as the format of dialogue icons (64*64 pixels).
• Voice Effects: Increased the volume of voice effects and non-localised sound effects, by playing them as stereo sounds even if the sound file uses the mono-channel format.
• Sound Effects: Added a new sound effect for a metal gate or door opening: 'Door opening 4.wav'.
• Help Entries: Improved the help entries for the feats Armour Expertise I and Armour Expertise II. Also added a link to these feats in the help entry for 'Restricted Dexterity Bonus'.

Please don't hesitate to email me at enquiries@heroicfantasygames.com if you find any bugs and annoyances, so that I can fix the game quickly. A saved game may be very helpful, too.

Thank You So Much, Valiant Paladins and Wizards of the Realm! Take care!! ^_^

Vagrus - The Riven Realms

Updated to 1.1750821J for Windows, Linux and Mac.

Changelog from SteamDB:

A New Build is OUT - Patch 1.175 - Codename: Conrectus Ligaturae

Hey everyone,

As we’ve alluded to in recent posts, the recent release of Old Acquaintances has set the creative part of the team into action on our next DLC, but what have our programmers, UI, and quality assurance people been up to?

Why, improving the game, of course. This is why we’re happy to present some impactful quality of life (QoL) changes that will help make your Vagrus experience all the smoother.

Companions and Character Sheets

The first complaint we’ve received multiple times – and for which we’ve been trying to find a solution for a while – is related to the information available for Companions’ Skills. Currently, it is possible to use the arrow indicated on the right-hand column below to view the next Skill level above your current one by clicking on it. In the screenshot, you can see this is possible for both Suppressing Shots and Defensive Cut.

Now, you will be able to view all levels of the Skill. This means if you have Poison Arrow I. on Criftaa then you will also be able to see the statistics of levels II. and III.

But that’s not all: previously obtusely presented Skills – like Criftaa’s multi-phased Suppressing Shots – will now allow the player to toggle between their phases; the first phase is for the overwatch portion of the Skill, like in the picture above, while the second phase indicates how much actual damage it will do when it is triggered by an enemy.

Toggling between the two phases can be done simply by toggling the brown box just to the right of the Skill’s name.

We’ve also got changes coming for summoners. Previously, the issue was simply that one could not know what creature is going to be summoned and what its stats are. The below mockup – put together by our wonderful UI designer – illustrates how the player will be able to bring up information about the summoned creature from the character pane.

Campaign Map

The next serious QoL change we’re making is to campaign map movement and it’s simple: you will be able to double-click on the node you wish to move to and you will go there. No more clicking on the node then on the footprint icon, which some have decried as a finicky waste of time (it probably was).

As we continued working on these features, however, another crucial element loomed large: key bindings. They needed to be revamped to make some of the game’s controls more intuitive and logical. Thus, we set ourselves to the task of not only streamlining the handling and navigation of the comitatus, but also overhauling the default key bindings. One of the main goals here was to dramatically reduce the amount of clicks or keys the average sequence of actions takes and create a more modern, intuitive user experience. We’ve mapped out the changes below so you can take a look for yourself.

For some, the commands here will be nothing new but there is one entirely new addition: the “Comitatus Tabbing” command. This will bring up the default comitatus menu and allow you to move – or tab – between different panes within that.

We’ve worked hard on these changes and we’re very excited to deploy them. As usual, let us know what you think! Below you can check out the whole inventory of changes.

Important Note: Considering the extent of the improvements, there is little to no chance that we broke nothing in the process. Assume that we did not want to make anyone's life harder. If you see something amiss, please flag it to us using the usual channels, like the inbuilt reporting tool (F1 button), forums, and our Discord server.

Patch 1.175 - Codename: Conrectus Ligaturae

New or Updated Features :gift:

• You can now double-click to move on the campaign map.
• Revamped key bindings: defaults have been changed to be more intuitive and grouped by topics or UI categories, and new hotkeys have been added.
• The Leadership Perk “Command” has been reworked: it now unlocks all advanced Crew Combat actions passively and when Resourcefulness is spent, it raises Combat Strength and Defense by 15% as well as turns Critical Failure rolls to Failure.
• The effects of multiple “Terrifying” Perks no longer stack. Stacking caused Skills that target multiple positions with characters with the Perk to be close to useless.
• You can now butcher Beasts and Mounts directly at your Outpost instead of having to move them to the comitatus.
• You no longer lose Mounts when Fighters leave you during Events (ie. Outriders do not take their Mounts) for narrative reasons.

User Interface Improvements :pencil:

• Combat Skills with multiple phases are now displayed differently (better communicating these Skills) on Character Sheets. You can switch between the effects and stats of the different phases.
• You can now check the stats and Skills of creature(s) that “summon” type Combat Skills spawn. Details are on the Character Sheet.
• Improved the visuals during an Evade sequence in Companion Combat so that players will have an easier time understanding what input is required from them in cases where the target position has to be interacted with.
• Evade is now displayed as a percentage on the Character Sheet.

Bug Fixes :bug:

• Fixed an issue that caused the erroneous display (and only the display) of framerate in Options.
• Fixed an issue that caused Renkailon’s Caltrops Skill to cause a lock in Companion Combat.
• Ironed out the discrepancies in Renkalion’s Loyalty changes caused by player choice after his storyline is concluded so now they should work as was originally intended.
• Companions now lose less Loyalty from becoming Severely Wounded, as was originally intended.
• Fixed a rare issue that prevented Javek’s ending slide from appearing despite his quest being completed in that playthrough.
• From now on, hiring the forces of Dragonlands factions to defend your Outpost actually costs money, as advertised by the choice. No more freebies, sorry.
• Fixed a glitch that caused Mount/Dismount to not always work as intended in Crew Combat, especially in relation to ambushes.
• Fixed the wrong tooltip display of Impervious Ward in Crew Combat.
• All relevant Factions purchase Salt from your Outpost more often, making it much rarer for it to pile up.
• Players have encountered further issues with the Wazirhai Curse quest, so we have attempted to fix some outlying problems that may have arisen from old scripts; we’re crossing fingers that we won’t have to return to this again.
• Reworked the Aid tutorial: it now only activates when it is the player’s turn after a character was Downed and it also provides enough Resourcefulness to use Aid. These changes prevent any locks that could have happened previously.
• Fixed a bunch of offset and oddly displayed tooltips.
• Multiple text-related improvements, as usual. Thanks for all the reports and feedback!

As ever, more is coming, so stay tuned and conquer the wasteland!
