Limited-quantity deals round-the-clock | Tired-looking sheep.

UPDATE: Time to go to bed, everyone! It's been a fun, intense, coffee-fueled week but the sheep has finally saled on this Insomnia sale so everyone can now get their (hardly needed) beauty sleep. Or go try out those fine-looking games they snagged moments before stocks disappeared. So long and don't let the bedbugs bite. Slay them for precious XP, instead.
Remember to check your email for your unlocked freebies, and you can always contact Support if there is anthing you're missing.

Don't fall asleep, don't look away… heck, just give up blinking.
Prepare yourselves a cauldron of hot coffee and stock up on eyedrops! Our infamous Insomnia Sale returns with a relentless stream of limited-quantity deals, one game after the other, nonstop until the games run out. Or the sheep doze off.

We've been studying your valuable feedback on this annual event, including comments like "AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH!!!" and "Please, why won't you let me sleep?!". We took them to heart and decided that what you guys are saying is that you need more gaming stimulants to fight away sleepiness. Worry not, we're here to help.

You lucky Insomniacs will also be treated to a number of games never before seen on GOG.com as well as the best-ever deal on our crowning jewel - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (-50% after the recent price drop, that's $24.99 in the USA).

If you want to learn more about the intricacies behind this whole science of non-sleep, check out the promo FAQ. But don't dally there too long, because games will start disappearing before your bloodshot eyes!

The GOG.com Insomnia Sale starts Monday, March 21, 2:00 PM GMT and will run until the limited-quantity deals run out.

While counting sheep and game deals, make sure to also drop by our imgur page and grab your Insomnia wallpapers.

I wonder how many posts are going to get eaten by the forums? We're on a streak right now. :P
And as usual is in my end of the month time frame....yay...Someone up there really hates me...

astroclay: Is anyone else having an issue where the game card refuses to update when a new sale begins? I have to refresh the page in order to see what's available!
Yep, having the same problem here. Not acceptable with this type of sale. :\

Venita: Serpent in the Staglands is a weeaboo game? News to me. :P
No, but the former two certainly were.

moonshineshadow: Well... I was happy when seeing the Insomnia sale. And now I realised you can't buy these games as gifts (if you don't already own them). Since my wishlist is rather short, the sale has become pretty uninteresting now :-(
I think you can buy them as a gift when you already own them. At least I had the option for The Witcher 3.

HunchBluntley: Is everyone else having to reload the front page every time the games changes to be able to see the next game?
No, the game card changes without reloading.
I have to remember to try out Serpents in the Staglands again some day. There's been tons of patches to sort out some the early game difficulty since I last played, which was the only real complaint I had against the game: either way to easy or way to hard
I'm staying out of this one... NEVER AGAIN!

I have to. This is the first time I've had to since the site went to this format, too.

implord66: It's not keaning. An hour or more is Keaning. I say this as a proud veteran of the first insomnia sale.
I wasn't around for that first mythical moment. I'll always regret it.

PaterAlf: First games were always slow, because most people didn't realize that an Insomnia started at that point.
Say that to the Ys games. They zoomed by.

avatar
justanoldgamer: In my days "keaning" wasn't used so lightly.
Them whipper-snappers don't have proper respect!
I hate these kind of sales, I hate having to buy games one at a time.

That is what I was saying ;-)
But I am sure not going to buy games I have zero interest in for myself, just so that I can then gift a copy to someone.
Serpents is moving a bit slow, which is a pity. It's a really refreshing take on the genre. Doesn't help that people have to manually go the gamepage though :P They kinda have to sort that out asap
Same here: picture does not refresh when the stock runs out, so have to manually refresh the page.
At least the name displayed alongside the counter would help - and would ease the load on the GOG server too!
Ha! Welcome spring insomnia! Great wallpapers by the way - kudos to the artist(s)!

I'll check out what's up for the grabs from time to time, but I can't make any purchases until I return home (not really fan of using any CC through Android & a public connection). That being said, while I won't miss the Witcher 3 sale as my PC will blow up if I try to play it, I really hope for a similar discount on some of my wishlisted games. Cheers!
