jimbob0i0: A small part of me kind of wants to try it lol

LynetteC: Can it be ANY worse than Hatoful Boyfriend? lol
Having owned and played through both... yes, lol. I thought Hatoful Boyfriend was pretty interesting.

Huniepop is actually kinda fun though, it's more comedy than anything

Joao17: anyone belives no man's sky is coming?
I'm pretty sure that won't happen.
avatar
Ophelium: I bought one copy...that was as much as I was willing to take for the team.
And you're a hero for it.

avatar
liamphoenix: It was actually kinda fun, and interesting twist on an annoying genre.

The problem is that the very last Hunie is a ridiculous pain to get, even with everything maxed.

I suspect I need to play some more to get the gifts I didn't pick up earlier in order to win that round.
Ok, now I need to know, how does the puzzle 3-in-a-row mechanic work with the dating sim aspect of the game?
It makes no bloody sense.

SonataFanatica: There's Stasis!! It's awesome!
The soundtrack was made by the guy who also made the soundtracks for the early Fallout games, Zork Nemesis, and many more.
If I didn't that game on Steam already, I'd buy it again.
As a fan of both Sanitarium AND Event Horizon, this one's a no-brainer. :)
Speaking of Sanitarium: I really hope that GOG will release the German version soon. I know for a fact that they have the files ;)

MarkoH01: I haven't found the time to trie it yet (even though I bought it a while ago) but I've heard that the game itself (not talking about the pictures here) should be pretty good if you like match 3 games. Hatoful Boyfriend on the other hand is a pure visual novel which one might like or dislike. Both are successful games afaik.
I found it to be amusing. I don't normally like match 3 games, but the story (while no literary masterpiece) did make me chuckle more than once.

Also, it was like a collection of bad pick-up lines you find so funny when someone shares them on social media, but spaced out so as not to overload you on the groan factor all at once.
Word of warning, the "countdown" indicator to when you get your freebie game is not 100% reliable, it would seem.

Mine was still saying 1 game to go when I received an email with a redemption code for SOMA.

Just to check, when Convoy came up I nabbed that and, when it refreshed, it was now saying that I've got 9 games to go before I get my next freebie.

In fact afaik it makes perfect sense. Just take a look at some YT-videos and you will understand.

Shendue: Okay, keaning prevision for when the sales start to slow down. What are the best candidates to the Jack Keane award of slugginess?
avatar
chromeneon: Shadows Heretic Kingdoms might be the closest thing, and that's when (if) it comes around for a 3rd time.

Judging by the horror stories of past Insomnias though where they put hundred copies of the games, this time they really thought things through. The technical issues at beginning were unfortunate but they acted fast and now everything seems to be running smooth.

Good job, GOG!
I assure that you can't even imagine those. Some slow games came in HUNDREDS of copies. I remember something like 1200 copies of Eador, Masters of the Broken World. I was waiting for 5 or 6 titles that i knew were in the sale but i missed the first two rounds and i decided to take a nap a couple hours. I overslept and woke up 6 HOURS LATER and the game was still on (or maybe it was just on the following title, I can't remember).

The puzzle sim is the colors, based on personality traits, where you aim for a color and avoid another based on the personality of the girl you're currently dating.

There are gifts that you can give that modifies the pieces on the board, or makes a color worth more points, or removes the heartbreaker tiles, etc.

Deithwen90: What's the story behind Keane? I'm too afraid to google since ithe offer's about to change.

liamphoenix: C'mon GOG, I need to walk out the door in thirteen minutes, where is Grandia 2 and it's second visit to the sale?

I've seen The Escapists three times now, and I missed the one I want when I had a smoke break.

This is why I (still) hate Insomnia sales even after the Keane fixes.

I kinda feel bad for the Keane guys though, sounds like it's not a bad example of the genre, just not a very popular one that was new enough to have a fairly high sale price then.
Been up at least twice, already, I grabbed it first time and I've seen up at least one more time since then.

Huniepop is a great puzzle game, if you can stand the softcore-ecchi part.

chromeneon: The Enhanced Dungeon and Dragons bundle hasn't come round again, right?
I've only seen it once. I'm watching out for it now because I want to buy it. The first time I only caught a glimpse on my mobile (cellphone) before it had gone...

Loads of other games have been cycled a few times!
