budejovice: Tracking thread hopelessly broken.
Images not refreshing.
Can't remove items from basket so everything shows up as a pending order in account.

You're out of practice GOG. Which is why you need to run TWO INSOMNIAS EVERY YEAR.
I like the way you think. ;)
Am I the only one not getting the recent messages on this thread... including my own? haha

IFW: Is there any way to cancel a pending order?
They do not show any countdown for expiration... and the only reason they are there is because otherwise there was no way of seeing what was on sale!
avatar
Johny.: They will cancel themselves after some time. :)
Would that be hours, days, weeks, months or years?
avatar
Impaler26: Same here. This really sucks. And also i can't buy games i don't own as a gift.

But what would a big GOG sale be without bugs and annoying things happening? :D

Neverfree: A steam sale
Cannot agree here. Steam sales also are often buggy.

I liked that there was text over the image for the Dungeons & Dragons Enhanced Edition Bundle. It would be great if that was used more.
worst kind of sale, ever.

not participating at all.

sorry, gog. i'm not a fan of "impulse buy" sales.

takezodunmer2005: WOW, Van Helsing went QUICK!! In a matter of seconds!!

Fairfox: It's like Nox™ was, but nowhere near as Nox™-y.
It's cool though, as I already have vox (^_^)
stuck on p23 for 25 minutes :(
Can anyone give me some guidance, please? If the game card says the game works on Windows 7 onwards and I have Vista, does it mean the game will NOT work on my system, or the game MIGHT work on my system and if so what is the percentage chance that it will?
avatar
ignisferroque: Just noticed that too, appears under order history. Thats just silly. Anyone know where i can remove it?
avatar
Fellin: Wonder if it still lets you buy at the sale price?
Yes you can, that's how I just bought The Dig.. It's not a bug, it's a feature!

Fairfox: It's like Nox™ was, but nowhere near as Nox™-y.
Because this is not Nox .... (Oh, those were the times. I laughed so hard the last insomnia sale I thought I'd die).
This sale is already messing with me, I´ve been listening to Busta Rhymes Break Ya Neck for over half an hour. :P

DubConqueror: (*) Job interview is the translation given by google, but they're not soliciting for a job, but for a seat in the advisory council.
It's called a "blow job".
avatar
IFW: Seriously GOG, the reason the games disappear is not that they sell fast; they disappear because everyone clicks on the image to see them... effectively preventing those people buying the games who would want them.
avatar
Bish_Bash_Boris: I have Five reserved copies of SHADOWS: HERETIC KINGDOMS if you'd like one?
Why 5? :p
The games that are pending in your order history go away after time. You can still go back to them and pay the discount price until they do.

No reason to freak out about it.

foxworks: Thread is loading for me now after a 22 minute blackout. Wow
Has been the same for me. And now it's again more than 20 mins behind. But the tracking thread is even worse, it's more than an hour behind.

The switch to HTTPS seems to thrash their infrastructure.
