Don't fall asleep, don't look away… heck, just give up blinking.
Prepare yourselves a cauldron of hot coffee and stock up on eyedrops! Our infamous Insomnia Sale returns with a relentless stream of limited-quantity deals, one game after the other, nonstop until the games run out. Or the sheep doze off.

We've been studying your valuable feedback on this annual event, including comments like "AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH!!!" and "Please, why won't you let me sleep?!". We took them to heart and decided that what you guys are saying is that you need more gaming stimulants to fight away sleepiness. Worry not, we're here to help.

You lucky Insomniacs will also be treated to a number of games never before seen on GOG.com as well as the best-ever deal on our crowning jewel - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (-50% after the recent price drop, that's $24.99 in the USA).

If you want to learn more about the intricacies behind this whole science of non-sleep, check out the promo <span class="bold">FAQ</span>. But don't dally there too long, because games will start disappearing before your bloodshot eyes!

The GOG.com Insomnia Sale starts Monday, March 21, 2:00 PM GMT and will run until the limited-quantity deals run out.

While counting sheep and game deals, make sure to also drop by our <span class="bold">imgur</span> page and grab your Insomnia wallpapers.

chromeneon: Anyone noticed how they removed the "more new games added" sign that was coming out of the sheep's mouth? Probably preparing the new one which would probably say like "even more new games added". (I hope it says "50 more new games added" though :-)
It's been gone for a while now though. Like 12 h or so ;) I hope for the best though. What is Insomnia sell without 150 Indiana keys or Nox!

Niggles: Im with you about Endless Legend :).

Have to consider what to do for Easter tho... cant visit family as its a fullhouse.literally...
The soundtrack of Endles Legend is absolutly amazing. I listen to allot of soundtracks, but the EE one is one of the few I listen to on a regualar basis.

Ashnak: Dunno if someone already mentioned it, searching the thread I couldn't find it.

I wanted to buy a game from the sale and got a "Checkout for FREE" page. The freebie even counted for the "buy x more games" counter.

Too bad it was a 1.39€ game :P
You obviously had store credit! You can't opt out of using it from the sale checkout screen so your game appears to be free.

flanner: im back after 1 and 1/2 day which i couldnt be online.

do any new games go, or just the same like first day ???
avatar
chromeneon: They will probably add 15 new titles every 24 hours. See here for the first 15 that were added yesterday:

thanx a lot!

so, are there any withdrawn too? else it would be hard to hit "new" one from such a big pile..

Haha....right. I think this are the most bought games during a sale ;) In my opinion the last Insomnia was last summer, right?

Yeah, well after snatching that notorious D&D bundle last night I called it a (most awesome) day and am just noticing that ;-)

I'm still waiting for it. I saw it twice, but got tired after nightshift and relaxed thinking these were original BG and Icewind Dale which I already have. But no... they are enhanced... Damn!

I think it was. for some reason i always get the Insomnia Sales mixed up and confused. Last sale things got a bit out of hand and I ended up spending 174€. That was a bit of a shock :S

I don't know, if someone bothered to browse/script through that loooong list and check if any games from the original batch stopped appearing last 24 hours, please let us know. I think all games are still here though, its just some are going up more often than others.

I meant comparing the tracking list here with the ongoing script there

I don't feel like doing it once for every single one of the first 100 or so games, but if you do, be my guest :-)

This isn´t supposed to be a rant but I hope the next batch of games is more to my liking. :)

Ah okay that clears it up. Thought you meant something different.

PaterAlf: Are you sure you ddn't have store credit from another game?
Damn, that could be. Bought Wasteland 2 some time before which has some heavy store credit.
I try to avoid buying regionally priced games so I never paid something with store credit before.
