While not exactly secret, I like all of the spaceship cameos in Space Quest III. Acme Rocket, Tie Fighter, Jupiter 2. And an Optimus Prime looking head because, why not?

I guess i would have to say my favorite is the Braithewate sister locked away in an outhouse in Red Dead Redemption 2. Just a general creepy and sad vibe that has no quest markers or any interactions besides her freaking out. I always wondered if she was already like that when they locked her away or did the constant isolation make something else worse or drive her crazy? I also always wondered if the numbers were simple babbling or more the community hasn't figured out yet. Wish everyone the best of luck.

Some of the positons you find the teddy bears and mannequins in in fallout 4. One bear will look like its performing surgery on another or walk into a room and a bunch of naked mannequins standing in a circle looking like they are about to get it on lol.

My favourite is in Blasphemous' hidden room where all characters that inspire the dev to make their are displayed
Subnautica has a one-person vehicle called the Seamoth. In an earlier version, it used to say 'I love it when you come inside me' in a female voice, whenever you entered it. This has been removed since.
for me its Swat 4 hands down which also happens to be a GOG exclusive!

in several game levels there is a cardboard character that can be found of tribes, the movie which came out in 2007 in march. its a reference to the game Tribes vengeance which was also created by irrational games & published by sierra/vivendi in 2004 half a year before swat 4! i also see petitions for swat 4 to come to steam so GOG is +1 in that deparment lol best of luck everyone x :)

My favourite Easter eggs would be a dead assassin from Assassins Creed in Witcher 2, Witcher 3 had so many Easter eggs as I recall a man with the tiger in Tuisant from GTA series or Sword in flame in Tuisant fairy tale landscape from Souls series. Also, I like Easter eggs in Warcraft 3 for Example the Gigantic Panda during the Elf campaign or Zerg from the Starcraft series.
My favorite is something that's as fun as it is sad. Its from the Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings trial version. In it, there's only one playable campaign and one playable random map. The campaign is the William Wallace learning campaign, which is the tutorial campaign to the game and the first taste of AoE2 and RTS for many people.

In that campaign's first scenario, which teaches the player how to move units and attack, the player-accessible area of the map is a corridor in a forest. But when you use the map reveal cheats ''marco'' and ''polo'' by typing it into the chat, you can see that the rest of the map is actually not covered with forest but is quite open.

In this player-inaccessible area of the map, there is a marking on the green grass with brown tiles the letters ''ES'', which probably stands for Ensemble Studios, the now-defunct studio that started the Age of Empires franchise.

And the sad part is that the studio is no longer around. Having this little easter egg as a reminder of the studio that started it all is great.

Picture attached.

Count me in for the contest!

My favourite has got to be from Asheron's Call, one of the first generation of MMOs, which I played A LOT!

AC was a typical fantasy world setting. In some areas of the game, particularly the starting areas, there were rabbits flopping about. They were very easy to kill of course (level 1), and players could use them as combat practice.

There was a region of the game called the Direlands, which was originally the high-level area, full of nasty creatures. During early exploration, players were surprised to find a white rabbit on it's own in this otherwise dangerous part of the world. But any player who ventured too close or tried to attack the rabbit met with a grisly fate! You see, this was "no ordinary rabbit", but rather a reference to a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcxKIJTb3Hg). It caught quite a few players off guard but was very funny. Asheron's Call shut down a few years ago, but you can find information about the rabbit at: https://asheron.fandom.com/wiki/45.6S,_87.0W_-_White_Rabbit_Cave

Thanks, all the best!
As someone who enjoys immersive sims in general, the callbacks to the 451 code from the original System Shock as an easter egg in modern games like Dishonored, Prey (2017) Bioshock, Dues Ex and more is one of my favorite Easter Eggs. It respects the game which popularized the genre.

Another favorite easter egg is from Batman Arkham Asylum during the second Scarecrow nightmare sequence. The whole sequence and the fake game over screen at the end nearly scared me as a kid, and made me restart my whole system, thinking I actually killed my PC lol.
I'm absolutely loving some of these.

Joe Blade 2 on the ZX Spectrum. Anyone of that era knows how long the games could take to load and the ear assaulting noises that accompanied it. JB2 had the only instance I ever saw where it loaded a tiny pac-man clone that you could play while the main game was loading. Probably added a few minutes overall to the load, but made it feel a lot less.

Not sure if it counts as an easter egg as it's not really hidden, but definately something unique.
My favourite game is Tomb Raider 2 and all the little easter eggs that were hiding in that game!

For example, when you're in the tibetan foothills the gang memeber have an intersting logo on thei jackets. Turns out the logo on their backs is from doom. It was the monster called, lost soul. This was pretty cool when I noticed it as a kid even though it was pretty hard to tell with the wonderful graphics at the time haha.
I'd say the one that Just swims around in my noggin, is the on e from Starcraft 2. Where in the terran campaign if you go far out enough in a map infested with Zerg. You will encounter a Marauder that hops into a porta potty and rockets up into that stratosphere. It caught me way of gaurd when i first found it but I still find it absolutely golden.
