The GOG version of the game is of course superior to getting it from anywhere else (IMHO at least), but for all the unlucky folk that lose out on the GOG giveaway the game is available for free right now on Origin On The House, which of course requires giving your soul to the Origin DRM machine yada yada yada. :oP

Oh, and happy being a dad as well. :) Be sure to let your kid play Dungeon Keeper when they're old enough too! :)

Technically there's no DRM on the Origin version. It's just the game wrapped in DOSBox, so you can copy it out to your heart's content. Mind you, the GOG also includes Deeper Dungeons, so there's that.

Yeah, I figured that but it's got the evil "Origin" stigma to it so a lot of people wont want it because of that. :oP Personally I wont buy games from EA/Origin nor Ubisoft/Uplay as they burned me with their DRM on many game purchases I made from them many years ago but I don't mind installing their clients and vacuuming up all of the free games they offer over time as my way of getting something back for free for the bad vibes they gave me before. :)

There has to be someone here that doesn't have DK, just hold in there. :)
