On the topic of actually consuming journalistic content; I think I'm at a point where there are enough ethical alternatives to completely avoid all mainstream sites. I wonder who still reads Kotaku or Polygon these days.

Now we have the antiSJW side flaring up in a massive way. KiA is buckling from the load as the shit from the out of context warriors spew their feelings and lie about the recent events. So yeah; we're at a point where MGS5 released, Samus is being ignored as a human and being seen only as a woman, journos expressing no concern over male ''objectification'' while milking the cow on the other gender all the way to the bank, we have that dictator $arkeesian lying again and plenty of others. I was thinking the antiSJW side was getting less eventful after the talk of ethics and airplay but it flared up so much I'm sure this is gonna last until Christmas.

I've found myself checking out mentally more and more from all of this. The Samus controversy closed another couple of doors in my brain. There's an actual issue over the gender of a fully costumed video game icon from 30 years ago. People are actually deep in argument and discussion over it. I'm not even face palming myself at this point... more like jazz handing my head, like some masochist with tourette syndrome.

I'm wondering if the Wus, Quinns, and Sarkessians are fifth column agents working for the MRA. A movement couldn't pick more pedantic, erratic, and adolescent figureheads. If you flip the coin and make this a right wing movement dedicated to the defense of first person shooters, leaders like these would have tanked the whole damn thing long ago. But the crusaders always get a get-out-of-jail free card with their bosom buddies in the mainstream media establishment. One left hand washes another.

I wonder when this will end. The social justice cancer doesn't seem to have an end in sight and simultaneously KiA looks more like TiA with ethics discussions added in each passing day. The only plausible ends I see are either the two sides perpetually attacking each other until the MSM support for aGG dies out and they lose or MSM going down with aGG both having damaged eachother's credibility too much. And both don't seem likely to happen any time soon. OR aGG just gets abandoned after the hipsters get tired of the 12th hitpiece per day and move on to easier targets that don't or can't talk back as much.

As to GG being a success; I think it depends on what one calls a success. Ethics policies have all be changed and the FTC has been forced to shake some stuff up. An index of shills has been prepared and almost all antiGG theories have been debunked through many a method on the occasional occurrence that aGG and SJ at large thinks their ideas for a revolution for the world may stand up to criticism. But MegaphoneAlexander and Master Kuchera and MuckIntosh and $arkeesian and LiterallyWu still hold some kind of credibility, and we haven't been able to provide the solutions the small problems that do exist in games.

Kudos for me, II touched some right buttons with my previous post. Look how they never answer when you do not fall in their scheme of pissing off gamers and attack them to play the "victim". GG is a leaderless movement. aGG is a leader-based movement. When the foundation money runs out and new career opportunities appear, folks like Mcintosh and Sarkeesian will move on. The best solution for a free marketer like myself would be to see the SJW types make their own games and leave us alone with ours. If people really want to experience games through the eyes of transgendered, non-binary butterflies, let them make and play all those kind of games they want. That's fair. That's a market being created by and for its own constituency. But the scales of justice are never in balance. The energy has to swing in one radical direction or another. If the whole point of the great 'crusade' is to establish a dialogue about these issues, then we're already there, we're trying to have a dialogue. But the SJW pawns feel the need to constantly bring out the male tears coffee cups and ban hammers. To some egalitarianism means 'WE WIN.'

Actually its not even a question of making games for specific genders or sexes. Both Winter Wolf Games and Her Interactive are two studios that make games with female player options and female centric choices and storylines. Out of the few aGG arguments that have been weaseled out here or on any forum, I've NEVER seen any mention of them even in comparative terms or aGG ever acknowledging their existence. I think this is a fundamental problem with social justice in that they focus on the everything of every minority and hence cannot concentrate on specific problems relating to one. They can't focus on it. Their followers won't let them. They financially lose from focusing on one particular topic.
