Sargon is married? Wow, it must've been no easy task dealing with his wife's dad given internet ''position''.
Seriously about those Ozi journos; what the fuck do they think they are? Social justice is jack; its BS and they claim other people are entitled.

Nazis be like : Black people get arrested more because they commit crimes because they're black
SJWs be like : Black people need quotas because they're less capable because they're black
Truth be like : BOTH ARE RACISTS!
Yes this argument is borrowed without permission of the original guy without his consent and without the intent to give it back.

227: Funny indeed, but I worry it'll overshadow the other, less-entertaining-but-more-relevant thing that happened. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the gaming press when they think they're discussing where no one can see (apparently it was a public post on Facebook that they thought was private).

These are the people who claim to have the moral high ground. The emotional maturity. The open-mindedness.
God. These people are rather inhuman. It is as if all the good things found in humanitywere completely erased from their nature.
Ex-SJ shares some thoughts: http://www.mcgilldaily.com/2014/11/everything-problematic/

''There is something dark and vaguely cultish about this particular brand of politics. I’ve thought a lot about what exactly that is. I’ve pinned down four core features that make it so disturbing: dogmatism, groupthink, a crusader mentality, and anti-intellectualism.''

Klumpen0815: Do lesbian couples get broad-swords? Ykyk (;
avatar
Emob78: Sure. Plenty of lesbians out there with envy for all things phallic.

But really, you can even have an armored school bus if you can find a way to A-team that shit together. All's fair in sex and war.
I guess nobody has gotten the joke since this use for the word "broad" isn't very common anymore.

Wow, this stuff is priceless, one of those things worth reproducing here so more people can read it.

"How have they not been crushed by now?"

"... make friends with them until they beg for mercy ... if that fails just scream shitlord really loud"

"CRUSSSHHHHH PUNY CHILDRENNNNNN" - that is not even remotely funny and brings up another concern about some of these people.

"Really, I just want to physically fight them."

"There are people walking around today purely because it is illegal to kill them".

"Thankfully we are the good guys". - Jesus, how much more delusional does it get. But then again most believe they're on the "good" side (well there's some exceptions who must know they're evil, right?)

All they project on pro-gaming are descriptions of themselves.

"gamergate have a way of spinning .. their failures ... as helping their cause"

"... they're like a fundamentalist religious group ..."

This is evidence of one of my (and many other people's) concerns about this fringe element that was somehow mainstreamed. And that is, that many of their members are violent criminal types and worse. Of course that's not to say that everyone who is anti-gaming is like this - there's always well meaning dupes.

Ah, but wait, one voice in the wilderness got something right

"they're here and they're part of our community/industry ... as such they deserve to be covered. Not for yucks or clickbait, but they are news worthy"

And finally this fairly good bit of advice amongst all their disturbing, putrid emotional and psychological sludge.

[Create] " ... better ideas and ... narratives in which you encourage ... people to change their minds and join the armies of light. It's about having better ideas - and using them-" Well, they'll probably go ignored in that crowd but it's something anyone can use.

I'm pretty sure that one was sarcasm intended to point out that they were being every bit as bad as they believed GG to be, actually. That's the same person who encouraged the original poster to go for it earlier in the comments.

So they do know they're evil ...

It was just one guy who seemed to recognize how stupid is it to be toxic in the name of fighting perceived toxicity (or toxicness—I'm not hip enough with the lingo to know which is right in this context). I'd call that an encouraging sign given how easy it would have been to just go with the flow in that situation.

Calling them evil is way too manichean; we're not righteous crusaders of goodness fighting evil any more than they are. Starting to believe that is what allows people to buy into the infallibility of their cause and rationalize away acting like a monster, so it's definitely a road best avoided.

Absolutely. As pointed out in the above post there's always well meaning dupes.
I love how put forth an argument and no one challenged it but my rep just went down. Really, no one wants to have a conversation about minority inclusion. They want that sweet Patreon money so they can continue with their privileged lives buying motorbikes, bullying and being racists.

Like not wanting to bomb for peace or fuck for virginity.

The rational conclusion is that the end does not justify the means.

Its a healthier approach. Having the mindset of of "there are no bad tactics only bad targets" ultimately torpedoes your argument and whatever it is you protecting or fighting for.
SJWs of aGG think they're fighting for minorities against the majority more or less. Hence the radical bravado. Seriously, moviebob's quote sounds like something Hitler would say.
Not really GG or AGG related but....

When I think of matters of social justice, I think of the things and the situation that these poor people have to deal with. My heart hurts when I see people get treated like this.
