mk47at: Crap.

Probably the fairest game of the tournament. No dives, no endless complaining, no embarrassing acting, etc.
Yes, it was one of the best matches so far. Kinda feel bad for Japan. Losing in the last 30 seconds really sucks.
Shame for Japan, in large parts of the game they were on top. The substitutes really changed it for belgium. Still a bit lucky.

That as well. At least the second half was very good.

Edit: Your name is almost Siegtor, i.e. winning goal. ;-)

I'm so looking forward to Fellani stomping up and down on Neymar.

bela555: Poor Schmeichel, he was my keeper in CM 03-04
Like father, like son.

Feel bad for Japan but Belgium is so consistent with playing on a high level, it should be real treat to watch them vs Brazil.
Sad day, hoped for either Mexico or Japan to make a surprise, but no :(

Best luck to Colombia tomorrow !
In Belgium vs Japan match there were no losers, because football won.

It was a very big mistake from Japan.
You don't cross a corner and send so many players up in the last minute when your opponent is so much better with headers and their gk is 2m tall.

Sadly, yes. Not unless it's you're in a situation where if you don't score you're eliminated anyway. Japan could safely try and win in extra time.

ciemnogrodzianin: Belgium - my great respect!
I know teams which would rather cry and go home to their mommies after second goal lost. Great fighting spirit!
Ditto for Japan. They didn't break apart after their 2 goal advantage was equalised.

I'm not a huge fan of Japan (nothing against them, but after 2002 and what S.Korea did, I dislike them by association), and what they did in the last 10 mins with Poland was just sad, but they did well here.

This may not mean much to you, but as someone who's life revolves around the kindness and tidiness of strangers, I can't tell you how great I think it is, especially in light of what happened to them:

Oh, I'm quite happy that we've made it this far; any further is just icing on the cake. I think you have a pretty good chance at getting to the semis, perhaps even the finals, this year. But first you'll have to beat Colombia...
