Microsoft don't give two shits about PC gaming - despite a near monopoly on the OS that gamers run (sorry nix users.. but Win 7 / 8 / 10 would be the overwhelming majority) - as seen by ditching G4WL (YAAAY!!) only to follow it up with the GOD AWFUL Windows Store / Universal Windows Platform (BOOOOO!!!!)

They care about their (su)Xbox - that's all
its a ploy !

and probably a load of bullshit to make us think we have anything to say
like politics then
Microsoft: Here's the XBone! It is always online, requires checkins every 24 hours for your games to work, it requires the Kinnect, you have to pay to transfer your license from one machine to another, you HAVE to have a gold subscription or it won't work, and it's great for watching your favorite football games!. Oh people dislike this so we'll just delete and disable comments and say it's great, and have dozens of accounts to upvote it on Reddit and elsewhere. Oh and our whole section will SCREAM they love it at E3 while everyone else goes 'what the f***?'

As it is i don't think they will even look at the surveys or even care.

Of course Microsoft wants to know what we want and think. Why do you think Windows is sending everything you do to Microsoft?

Considering the own the most selling game in history... a little something called Minecraft.

I do bet they have concerns how their money maker is doing.

I'm sure you don't realise, but you've just given a great example of how Microsoft listens.

It's my primary example of what to expect and not to trust MS. (Among using Malware tricks to get people on Windows 10)

If you objectively look at the restrictions of Microsoft store vs Steam, its obvious MS care considerably more than VALVe.

Are you high? Or have you just not followed the debacle of games from the MS store?

I have never owned a console and probably never will, but even I was watching the XBone marketing clusteruck with fascination back before and around the time of it's release. I'm amazed anyone bought it at launch, it was such tremendous and utter fail on every level imaginable.

Don't forget they loved to inflate their numbers with '4 million shipped' which was how many were sent to stores and certain businesses... how many were sold? No clue, could have been 200k total (fanboys and the like)

The whole 8th gen has been an utter disappointment from what i see. And the upcoming half gen just makes me shake my head as i don't think I'd trust it.

I'm fully aware how poor UWP apps perform compared to standard windows programs, however

Windows Store will allow 10 concurrent uses of a license

Steam will (by default) only allow a one game from an entire library at any time.

And that single issue is enough for you to say that MS cares more about gamers? Despite everything else they've done and continue to do?

Well you do you, but don't be surprised when people disagree.
