darthspudius: I am curious to know if you can make a complaint via email about a seller being a twat?
Bought a 2xCD album, it came in a single disc case. Both CD's rubbed each other to the point of not playing. So I asked the seller if he knew about it and I got nothing but patronising insults.
Can't help you with the twats, but as for the discs, in addition to cleaning them you could try repairing them. There's this special, I dunno... resin? You can use it to repair scratches in cellphone displays etc. and it also works on data discs. I managed to fix up a few audio discs and game discs with that stuff. lazydog: The OP now has goods, which may or may not have been reported as faulty but are now reported here to be working OK. A refund has been issued. The OP keeps the goods. The seller got fucked, basically.
Now, to return to the OP, who is really the twat?
If the seller sent out damaged discs ( placed in a single disc case, while it should have apparently been a 2-disc case ), and is being rude to his/her customers ( which is never an option, if you're trying to be even remotely professional about the way you do business ) then I'd have to agree that the seller is at fault, and may or may not be a "twat". Depending on the price of the discs, it would probably not be worth sending them back anyway. ( Even if they weren't in bad condition. )
