I'm returning to inform you all of the sad news that Fishbaits has passed away as I know he had other friends here. I am sure many of you will remember him for his humour and helpfullness.

Details are still sketchy at this time, but he had not turned up to the charity shop he volunteered at for some time. Having no known relatives the police went to his residence and found his body. They are not treating it as suspicious.

I will update this post with any further (suitable) details as and when I recieve them.

Update: With some networking and a bit of brainwork his mother has been tracked down and contacted.

There is nothing saddened me more than the thought of a human being dying alone. Reading this kind of news always touched my deepest heart.

May he rest in peace.

Sad.... I know this may sound corny to some but it's nice that the shop followed up on this. I seriously doubt any place I used to volunteer at would have done so.

edit: I'm going to go ahead and say this hoping a staff member may come across it but his avatar is a hanged man. Kind of in poor taste....

Wow. RIP. TBH I thought the thread would end as a joke of some kind, but I guess this is totally serious. :(

I wish there was a better reason for popping back in to gOg, Sachys, but thanks for letting us know about this. If he was a personal friend or acquaintance, I'm sorry for your loss.
