huppumies: That's cool, maybe Faxanadu next?
Yes, indeed, fuck Xanadu, that irritating piece of trash masquerading as a musical!

...

Oh, that'll teach me to read.
Has anyone gotten a bug where the Skills Disappear after changing equipment?
How is the port quality of this one? The last Jap release, Little King (or something) was reported to be god awful.

JudasIscariot: From the terminal output, it looks like a shader issue. Lots of GLSL errors and warnings...
avatar
rampancy: So I'm guessing UseGLSL=disable doesn't have any effect?
None at all whatsoever. I also tried "ddr=opengl" and "ddr=gdi" and that just made things worse.

This isn't a port. All Falcom PC games released by XSEED so far are the original Windows versions touched up by XSEED's programmer.

As for the quality, there are bugs, but they're being squashed rather quickly.

Ah, good, I guess I didn't understand that. I will place it in my basket while I wait to see what else happens in the sale.

Remember that "The launch discount will last until November 9, 4:59 PM GMT. " so not until the end of the sale :P

XSEED usually does a pretty good job of patching their releases.

There are often a few nasty bugs at launch, but I haven't seen them abandon one in an unplayable state yet.

Yeah, Little King's Story is the only real exception, and they know they kinda dropped the ball with that one.

Xanadu Next had a couple of bugs when it launched yesterday, but their programmer, Sara, knocked them out already, and the patch is out on GOG.
I can't seem to change inventory tabs without the character moving to follow the cursor instead. Is this a known bug, is there a patch yet, or am I just missing something about the controls?

Sadly is a bug, the programmer, Sara, is working on it .

Apparently there's already a patch on steam, we have to wait for the patch on GoG

For this bug, I changed the value of "Cursor Speed" on config (raised it a little) and now the menus are navigable on the gamepad (XBOX 360 controller).
XSEED bundle for the Fall sale now! Take my money!!!
Ugh. Got a weird bug where I got the Cartographer achievement (100% of the game mapped) without ever playing past the data dump in the boat yet.. Trying to get it reversed so I can actually earn it later..
I wish all these Falcom games can have the option of original Japanese text, for those of us who can read Japanese..
