huppumies: That's cool, maybe Faxanadu next?
You monster !!

Chacranajxy: This is the very definition of a hidden gem. You guys should buy it.
Why? What makes it so special?

DonRumata1: No difficulty modes, but there's an optional randomized dungeon as well as post-game letter rankings based on how efficiently and quickly you play through the game.
Thanks for the answer :)
Do you know if you can play it with a gamepad ?
I really love the Ys games and the Legendary Heroes games...(And Symphony of the Night ! :D) from what you say, it sounds like that it is as good ? (even if different of course)
Is the game long ? And the story interesting ?
(sorry for the bunch of questions, but the price is a bit steep for my wallet, I can't be wrong if I buy it :P)

Oo, a new game, and a dungeon crawler! And from Japan on top of it all. Very tempting!

is it okay to freakout?
as im sorta freaking out as i played this game sometime ago bloody loved it.
and im suprised to see it on gog >w< which then again gog always suprises me on all the great classics they bring to us.

all hail gog bringer of the classic games <3

seriously though if i had the funds id be buying this right now @.@ as this game was damn good fun <3
and includes an extra dungeon once you finish the main story.
beyond that you can delevel at any point of the game, which allows you to use some of the special trait cards to gain bonus stats upon level up <3
some cards act like that, others give other types of boosts, which cards can be leveled i think

not really spoilers as its mechanics of the game >w< , as for the extra dungeon some would miss it if they didnt know to look for it sadly.

Was giving this beast of a game a go some weeks ago. Truly an underrated piece!
Great to see it here. Good job, GOG! :D
I think all the raves here are pushing me to get this. Let me just ask first, is it controller friendly?

I remember playing it with a controller.. but the movement is slower than something like Y's.

Thanks! Since it's sort of isometric, does it play like Diablo? I don't mind mouse/keyboard combo for that kind of game.

I'm not sure if you can use that combo, sorry. Hope someone else can help you with that.
Also, I don't know what XSEED did with this game, apart from the translation.

From the little I have played so far, it seems to support both xinput and dinput ones (with the exception of the name entry screen, which is currently bugged with a controller).

Cecco: Add the Japanese language, please.

JinKazaragi: Unfortunatly Falcom doesn't want their games to be released with japanese voices outside of japan.

Xseed usually makes very good dubs though.
My first reason to play it would be to play in Japanese so I can pretend I'm practicing the language instead of merely playing :D

Cool, thanks! I think I shall grab this one.
