There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

In addition to my earlier post. Finally a release that does not have a launch discount! Instapurchase!
Patched up with the fan restore its worth every cent. One of the rare RPGs in which it makes a difference what you play & how you do it (outside of combat).

omega64: I'm not sure how he's missing that fact. :P
I'm also curious why Activision decided to go for that price point.
But that's been the way ever since it was released on Steam and DotEmu decades ago.

The price point is fine, it's just weird not to give a launch discount after years of steam sales.

There is no discount because the hype is real enough to make people buy it full price~~
Still own the physical box and the Steam version.
One of my all time favs, but I think we can wait for a 50/75% sale for yet another purchase.

Do we know what if any unofficial patches etc. this one has by default?
The price is indeed painful, but i'm not gonna make the same mistake I did when it was on DotEmu and wait too long till it's pulled.

Cavalary: Now THIS is a big one. Unfortunately, insanely priced considering the age, don't think anything over 10 years old should go past $10. Hardly the only one, but still...
this is something telltale need to learn, too.

My opinion is quite the opposite, as mentioned in my last post - finally a game that the relevant people realise is good enough that it doesn't require a damned discount to get attention.

Venita: The game has the basic version of the patch already inside :)
Ooof. Not with that price.
Awesome you guys included the unofficial patch if i read that right. Definitely crucial. I played this game about a year ago for the first time and it was such a blast.

If anyone out there enjoyed deus ex and don't mind vampire themes then this is the game for you.

I recommend avoiding faqs and try role-playing your way through this one. It's not a perfect game even with all the fixes but it's still lots of fun even today.
SPCM was right... Instabuy !

LOL. After years of "OMG, Bloodlines on GOG would be sooo nice, I'd pay a lot" and now it's finally here, most posts are: "OMG, the same price as on every other store??!! TOO EXPENSIVE" xD
What did you expect? That instead of the 20 $ it costs on Steam, they would allow GOG to sell it at 5$?
BTW, nice to see the fair price for €.
