There will be blood. Delicious blood.

Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the timeless RPG masterpiece that has sucked many a gamer's time, is now available, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Intoxicating. Macabre. Vital. These are both traits of blood and of Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, the RPG that forever changed expectations on how the creatures of the night should be depicted in videogames. Was it the ridiculous replayability? The versatility of our vampiric abilities? The gripping visual and sound design? Perhaps the memorable NPCs and stellar writing. One thing is for certain: much like the daunting Antediluvians, this is a game whose allure only grows stronger with time. No point in resisting it any longer.

Sink your teeth into the definitive bloodsucking experience that is Vampire®: The Masquerade - Bloodlines™, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Note: This version includes third-party technical fixes, courtesy of Wesp5. The full unofficial patch, which also includes additional content, can be found over at Patches Scrolls.

Well, it's still gaining popularity atm =)
I bought it here on purpose to contribute :P (I also have a steam version, + purchased a physical copy box from ebay). I simply love everything about this game. It's definitely in my personal top 5 games of all time,
If by any chance Paradox would ever release a sequel (they bought White Wolf)...

Oh, and don't forget to test some outstanding community made mods.

The problem still being that any money goes to the publisher that pulled the plug and bankrupted the developer instead of the people who actually made it.

Sadly yes, but at least it shows the popularity of the product and might motivate Paradox to develop a new VTM game.

Epitaph666: Just went to 13 a few hours ago. It was 18th of June 2016.

Hey, it's on page 12 now! Keep up! :p
hahaha, sorry for slacking off!

By the way, i don't think Troika was closed before the game was released. I thought they started the patches after Gold Release and when they closed, the patches went in unofficial support but with the former developers supporting it.

By buying this game here, you might not give money to the original devs, but you support GOG and also give motivations to Activision to bring more of their games here! Which is always good!

they were closed before the game was released
some emploeeys worked with out pay to patch the game and it playable
but when all was said and done and troika closed in feb 2005 it was pretty much a formality

on steam it has as of last year sold 492,000 copies
on launch it sold around 72,000
Thanks for the info snowkatt.

As for the sales rank, it has now a good seat in page 12. Guess we'll see changes in the Fall sales!
