Scion458: Seems like the soundtrack isn't available here... yet.
What does 'yet' mean? Are you 100% sure it's coming? Or are you just guessing, and it's possible that GOG customers are going to get treated like second-class citizens and never get the soundtrack?

This issue needs much more explanation & elaboration as to why it's missing, and if and/or when it's coming, exactly.

Mawthra: There's no Non-Mandatory Corporate-Sponsored Bundle on GOG?
avatar
NuffCatnip: Was wondering about that myself. Doesn't seem like it. :/
And the Season Pass doesn't even show up on the game page (as of the time of this post)... someone needs to get on that ;)

fronzelneekburm: Lol, that was fast.

Isn't Alpha Protocol published by SEGA? Not that I would have anything against SEGA joining the gog family, but I assume SEGA have something against joining the gog family (despite some 50% of their games - including Alpha Protocol!) being DRM-free on Steam anyway).

Nergal01: Yeah, that's one part of the problem. Also, Sega stopped selling AP last year because of expired music licensing agreements. It's probably about "Turn Up the Radio".

It's bitter irony that AP got its DRM completely removed with its first and only patch.
They (SEGA) should either re-license the song or remove it.

The game's underrated and deserves to be played.

Modders would probably find a way to mod the song back in anyways. [shrug]

EDIT:
The other thing is: Well, SEGA could sell off the entire IP and AP1 distribution rights to Microsoft, since MS now owns Obsidian. I'd love to see Obsidian do a sequel.

Private Division is doing a really commendable job of offering people this game for 65USD, and that's without DLC's/passes and now soundtracks. Now it really seems like a bargain for 50%.

I like their style; 10/10! :D

+1 for AP also!

I wish I could enjoy half of what is there, but the prevalent mediocrity after the initial discovery of the first planet was numbing and soul-sucking. I hope others can enjoy it more without having to delude themselves.

As for Alpha Protocol, yes please. This is the kind of production I would like to see more of, because sometimes the originality and freshness count much more than the flaws and lack of budget.

...
Hmm, not in mine for sure! What Solar System are you living in?

Edit: typo.

And bought. Great game and i love how funny it is. Just wish game world was bigger but thats just me.

SCAgent: On Steam the game+expansion pass comes bundled with the soundtrack as well.
Is that the same for the GOG version?
Apparently, it doesn't. Main reason I ended up buying the game on Steam instead of GOG. If I'm going to drop C$80 on a game, I want the full package.
Nice surprise to see this here. Fantastic!
Ok GOG, ok, you're doing good here, you're not off my shitlist yet, I still don't know what you are thinking getting in bed with Epic and you better not pull any Galaxy exclusive non-multiplayer shenanigans, but this eases the tension a bit.

I doubt Sega management is smart enough to even know what GOG in the first place, let alone know enough about it to take issue.

I wish they'd prove me wrong, Sega is sitting on some of my most wanted (including my no.1 most wanted) if-it-was-drm-free games.

With Japanese publishers it's usually about regions, but that would make no sense here because GOG has been doing region-restricitions/pricing for a while now. So no idea.
Not planning on picking up a mediocre New Vegas - especially for that price. I'll wait for a deeper discount - maybe see if the upcoming DLC will improve it any.

Still, nice to have this released here.
I'm both excited and a bit salty. Last month I said "it's not coming to GoG, so I might as well buy it on Epic".

I did the same thing with Steam and Control. They just don't want your money.

One could do their head in trying to make sense of many, many baffling and boneheaded things that Sega have and have not done over the years. But I'm almost certain that Sega has no idea what GOG is.

I wish I knew if GOG had ever attempted to make contact with them...
