timppu: Really? So Skyrim will come to GOG too? Is it two years old already? :)
That's not the same thing and you know it you silly black metal listener.
If Zenimax was a nicer company I could see Morrowind and Oblivion coming here someday, after all they wouldn't have to remove Steamworks from those games. Unfortunately from what I've heard they're kind of phalluses.
You can always hope they go bankrupt I suppose.
Just a quick question: Does this have an optional first person perspective?
Good game and good price, was unfairly (imo) mauled by the "critics".
Never played this, though heard it wasn't too good. Is it explained why it's switched from a medieval fantasy setting in Risen 1 to the Pirates theme? Or "just because"?

Nice release! Already own the game on steam, but will buy it here as soon as the certificate is renewed ( assuming it is still on sale then), as I really dislike those exclusive and bound to one store releases.
AntiWarp-mod apparently does not recognize GOG edition, So, the question is, do other mods work with GOG version of the game?
Isn't this the so called pirate game with no ship to ship combat of any kind?

Only with console commands and even then, it's apparently buggy.

Link.
This looks great. One question: How bad is the M rating? On a scale of originally-T Oblivion to Grand Theft Auto, where does this fall?

This is important to me too. Anyone else gotten mods working?

PrinceCola: Is this a hardcore RPG?
avatar
Chacranajxy: I mean, its hardcore insofar as it's a janky mess with more depth than Diablo.

It's also not fun.
It is fun! >:o

Thanks!
Another "pirate" game I wouldn't mind scoring if it came to GOG is Port Royale 3. I also know it's had some DLC. The game looks nice and reviews seem to be, on average, on par with Risen 2, as in around 3 stars on average out of 5. That's good enough for me to, especially if I can score it on discount. I have the first two which are here, so it would make sense for the third to show up at some point.

Judging by the fact that Kalypso hasn't brought Tropico 4 here yet, I have a sneaking suspicion that Port Royale 3 will come here, when Port Royale 4 is released on Steam. Same with Tropico 4 coming here when Tropico 5 gets released.
anyone whos played and finished risen 1 aka 40 hours of joy , will be crushed playing this sequel . they really let the fans down with this one hope another risen game revives the franchise.

Firek: We have already updated OpenSSL, so we're patched against this bug, and we will renew our certificate soon(TM). I don't know when exactly when this will happen, but I got a confirmation from IT that they're on it.
Sorry to bug you, Firek, but any update? I guess it won't happen today, but can I hope the new certificate will be here before the promo ends? Because I'd really like to buy and play this game right now.
