A new shape has appeared on GOG.COM’s space radar to celebrate the beginning of our Summer Sale. Metro Exodus is an action-packed FPS game based on the best-selling novels from Dmitry Glukhovsky.

In the year 2036, a quarter-century after nuclear war devastated the earth, a few thousand survivors still cling to existence in the tunnels of the Moscow’s Metro. As Artyom, you must flee the underground shelter and lead a band of refugees on a continent-spanning journey across post-apocalyptic Russia aboard the Aurora, a heavily modified steam locomotive.

Until the end of Summer Sale - 15th June, 1 PM UTC - Metro Exodus is available on GOG.COM with a 50% discount.

Thank you GOG and DeepSilver, I don't know if either of you will read this message but on the off chance that you do I just wanted to say thanks for finally releasing Metro Exodus on GOG. It was an instant purchase from me as soon as I found out it had been released and it's been great fun so far (there are areas for improvement though, but this is not a review).

I don't know if the Epic exclusivity was a massively profitable move in the long run; but I hope that you, DeepSilver, choose to release your next game on all platforms at the same time.
Also, I heard that you're making a native Linux version of Exodus which, if true, is fantastic news. If you're next game is a same day multiplatform release, is better than Exodus and has a native Linux version then it will be an instant purchase from me.
Such a nice game with an open world, and a couple of new game mechanics (in comparison to the previous games). The best part - is weapon customization, when I can find the weapons part and install it in the open field. That game mechanics is one of the best I know.
