HuniePop, a dating-sim puzzle-game bonanza, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 50% launch discount.

What is HuniePop? It's a game kickstarted by thousands of fans. It's a "gameplay-first" dating sim. It's a match-three puzzle game. It's really popular.

In the world of HuniePop, you're just a loser. But yet another lonely night at a local dive-bar is about to change your life - or rather, it's the freaky love fairy you tried to hit on. She's going to help you out with the power of addictive puzzle gameplay. In HuniePop you'll spend the majority of your time matching shapes and colors, scoring high scores, and banging away at combos. If games like Bejeweled showed us anything, it's that we're super easy to entrance in the magic of matching - and HuniePop throws quite the cherry on top. There's plenty of upgrades and unlocks, a jazzy-pop soundtrack and a cast of entrancing characters. With every match you make, you'll get closer to uncovering the entire plot and bringing the story to its very happy ending.

You can also upgrade to the Deluxe Edition for an official Art Book, as well as OST.

Get your game on with HuniePop, available now, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 50% launch discount will last until Friday, October 16, 12:59 PM GMT.

amok: may be, but I do hope that in the long run it will also make it possible for games like Bejeweled 2, Puzzle Quest, Heroes of Hellas 3, Jewels of Cleopatra, The Treasures of Montezuma 3, Runefall etc. All very good games, but previous I guess they would be "too casual" to be here. This changes things?
Well, GOG.com is a heavily curated store, so just being "good" isn't enough anymore. There are hundreds of games in every genre that are merely good, but I think there needs to be a little bit of uniqueness to a game to be featured here. I think nobody would mind Puzzle Quest showing up here, though I dunno about the others.

Both HuniePop and Puzzle Quest offer content besides the "Match 3" mechanic, so you should keep that in mind too.

grumblycakes: I really hope GOG won't continue publishing this trash - Steam did it and now every other game there is an anime ecchi game. There is no going back after opening that trashy can of worms.
Yes, there is: They just don't need to put them in their store. Steam opened the floodgates on pretty much every single game, even unfinished, unplayable trash that has been thrown together with assets from Unity. This has nothing to do with HuniePop.

Out of thise listed above, I think only Bejeweled would fit into being match-3 only. Maybe The Treasures of Montezuma 3, but that one is a very fast take on the genre. The rest has something else also.
Why does the Deluxe version upgrade (soundtrack and artbook) show Mac and Linux compatibility, but the standard edition (game) is Windows-only? I hope that's a typo (there are Mac and Linux versions of the game on Humble and Steam)...

i hate you so much.
So, when do we get "Ball Buster" for equality's sake? :P

Sorry, Puzzle Quest would've been awesome. This, not so much.

amok: Well, this is a good release, if just to make all those people in that Hatred campaign threads shutting up about gOg being in the pockets of Social Justice Warriors ©®

(thread derailed).
Doesn't work like that. May I remind you that every exemple of gog game that was not "politicaly correct" (Postal, Carma, etc) was already turned around as a proof of the conspiracy, because "if that game is here why isn't this one".

The very principle of such theories is that absolutely anything and their opposite would always confirm the starting hypothesis. Don't bother.

Have you even played this? I doubt it cause it's the most surprisingly good game I've played since "Go! Go! Beckham! Adventure on Soccer Island".

You obviously haven't played it to say such a thing. It has nothing to do with the bazillion so-called "ero-games" that now flood Steam.

HuniePop is actually a game, and a very good game in addition! I recommend you to try it! :)
Interesting !

Although match3 games are not really my cup of tea, I will buy this one to validate the concept of finding (very) sexy games on GOG.

Refreshing !
