Are the gifts wrapped? Unwrap them. While on the inventory screen you have different sub categories to put gifts in. Put those in the five slots for your date gifts.

I don't know how you got so far without them, even on easy. I depend on gifts.

Feed the girls and go on a date immediately instead of mucking around asking question which empty girls stomach.

If the girl is full, you starts with 24 moves instead of the usual 20, Same thing with drinks, A fully drunk girl starts with 6 sentiment so you can use some gift right away.

6 Sentiment is just right for you to immediate use the Suede Ankle Booties and Leopard Print Pumps which gives you 3 extra sentiment and 1 extra move every time you convert 4+ token.

Early Game to Mid game
You will want a + move combo. Which is accumulate as much broken heart token as possible.
Then use Hoop Earrings to +1 move for every 2 broken heart token on the grid.
Then use the Stuffed Penguin to convert all broken heart token into joy token.
Then use Gold Earrings to get +1 move for every 2 joy token on the grid.
Then use Sunflower to (+1 move times all joy token -2 move).
You can throw in Cork Wedge Sandals so the joy token don't get consumed but you won't have room for Suede Ankle Booties and Leopard Print Pumps
You will earn a crazy amount of moves to do whatever you want.

Late game when you unlock the highest difficulty
you want to play with percentage, for instance the Pearl Necklace which gives you 1% affection for every sentiment you have. You can get sentiment easily with Suede Ankle Booties that +3 sentiment every time you match 4 token. If you get 100 sentiment + 3 for the use of the Pearl Necklace. You instant win with 100% affection.

If you are unlucky and did not get as much sentiment, there is Heart Necklace which give you 2% affection for every level of passion you have, max 16 passion gives 32% affection, so you need 68 sentiment plus 6 more for the usage of gift for instant victory (74 sentiment).

Still have problems with getting much sentiment? You have Stuffed Monkey that give 2% affection for every broken heart token on the grid. Assuming you can accumulate 15 broken heart token on the grid, it will give you 30% affection for 6 sentiment. So you now need 38 + 12 = 50 sentiment. Not enough?
There is the Stuffed Whale which convert the broken heart token into sentiment token so get cracking.
And Pink Mary Janes with + 1 sentiment for every passion token match which cost 3 sentiment.

Suede Ankle Booties +3 sentiment with 4 match
Leopard Print Pumps +1 move with 4 match.
Heart Necklace 2% affection per level of affection
Pink Mary Janes +1 sentiment for every passion token match (since I am using Heart Necklace which need passion anyway)

This combo I don't care about broken heart or what the girl favorite traits are My affection can drop to 0 for all I care, I just focus on getting the sentiment and passion token, even if I have to deal with broken heart with drop my affection to 0. Any token that does not give me 4 match are worthless.

When my passion level reach 16 and have 74 sentiment or more, I activate my "voodoo" necklaces immediately. Even if my relationships is in the pits with 0 affection, the girl will fall immediately. How can you possibly do that unless you use black magic?

The Masochism way
Suede Ankle Booties +3 sentiment with 4 match
Leopard Print Pumps +1 move with 4 match.
Stuffed Monkey 2% affection for every broken heart token on the grid
Stuffed Whale All Broken heart token becomes sentiment token.
Pearl Necklace 1% affection for every sentiment.

This method you hoard as many broken heart token on the grid as possible, and then convert them into sentiment token to boost sentiment. If you have 20 broken heart on the grid, you need 60 more sentiment, 3 for the necklace, 6 for the monkey and 6 for the whale. But you can offset that with the broken heart converted.

Depends on what you mean with "games like this". There are a ton of match-3 games, that's for sure. If you mean dating sims, that's quite rare, though. There are probably some flash games like that on newgrounds, though. If you mean ero games... yeah there are plenty real life porn games. Western-cartoon ero style is super rare though.

And y'know, most people playing such games simply want their anime style. If the game wouldn't pretend to be Japanese, it just wouldn't sell at all. The developer of HuniePop tried it with his new project HunieCam, but there was a huge ragestorm and everybody asked him to put back the anime style.
