The names of these games have been messed around with a bunch over the past few years, but the original titles under which they released in GOG's store (as opposed to library -- see below) back on August 26, 2015, were Ultimate DOOM, The and DOOM II + Final DOOM. You can see this for yourself in this archived newspost from just a couple days after these and other Bethesda-published games first dropped here (right-hand side, under "Related games").
(I don't own these, so I'm not sure of the exact original titles in users' libraries -- there was probably some mention of the Master Levels in one of the DOOM II-related library entries, for instance -- but there's likely to be someone about who bought the titles back then, and who still has backups of the offline installers from that era, who could check.)

Remember, if a game's name gets changed in GOG's store, it will also change in your account's online order history -- in case that's the purchase records to which you're referring. If that is the case, I'd recommend finding your purchase confirmation e-mail(s) that GOG sent at time of purchase, which will show the product titles (though obviously not the library titles) as they were then.
Another thing to consider is that, if any previous library entries of these games had just been removed as part of this new edition's release, I have a feeling you wouldn't be the only one howling about it in this thread :) .

The "DOOM (1993)" GOG "package" (ID: 1440164514, release date: 2015-08-26) contains the "game" "The Ultimate Doom" (ID: 1435827232). Notice the proximity of the ID numbers.

Can confirm that when I bought DOOM and DOOM II in August 2017, the *order* says DOOM (1993) and DOOM II. But both offered (as proven by the archived store news page) both the whole "Final DOOM, DOOM II + Master Levels, The Ultimate DOOM" package. Can't remember that changing. DOOM I Enhanced and DOOM II Enhanced were added later on as seperate packages, similarly like how DOOM I + II is added to my library.

In Poland it's even better: $ 12.89! Such a rich country :D

As I mentioned in the edit I just posted upthread, any title change to a store product will apply retroactively to any relevant entries in your account's order history. If you can find the purchase confirmation e-mail, that would be more reliable. (You can see in this GOGDb changelog entry for the first game's old package that it's only been called DOOM (1993) for a shade under two years! Unfortunately, GOGDb has only been around since about 2017 or 2018, so it's no help in proving what the original GOG packages consisted of in the library, or were named in library or store -- though, obviously, the Wayback Machine has us covered with regard to older store product names.)

Huh.. Well, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'll certainly drop this, but I am looking at my gog "orders history" webpage, and it says on Aug 27, 2017 I purchased(among some other titles):

DOOM (1993)
DOOM II

It even shows the original "official art title picture-thing" for both DOOM (1993) & DOOM II next to them in my "orders history" (the same pictures they currently use to identify DOOM I Enhanced & DOOM II Enhanced in the *downloads section* of my account). So, Gog in my "orders history" section, labeled them wrong AND put the wrong "official art title picture-thing" next to them. I haven't played them in a long while, so that's why I was so upset/confused..

On that note, while I was venting in this forum, I was also googling and rediscovered that the way I had the most fun with Doom 1&2 (and Wolf3D+Spear of Destiny) was by modding them to use more modern mouse+keyboard controls. Mouselook for Doom & well, a "more modern-ish" mouse+keyboard setup for Wolf3d stuff. I have re-acquired Crispy Doom & GZDoom(for brutal Doom) & ECWolf. So, as long as I can still scrape the original WAD files and whatever else I need from SOME version of the Doom and Wolfenstein games I purchased here on gog, it's all good. :)

I guess since GoG works quite well most of the time issues like this sort of wind up throwing me for a loop.***

Doom 1 + Doom 2 has now been added to my account. Thank you very much Bethesda and GOG for giving away this version for free to owners of the previous versions! Not many studios would do that, and the fact that you do makes me very happy.
