We know them, we love them, and they’re about the get better than ever – DOOM + DOOM II, now available in one, neat pack, is out on GOG!

Developed by id Software, and originally released in 1993, DOOM pioneered and popularized the first-person shooter, setting a standard for all FPS games. The critically acclaimed sequel, DOOM II, followed in 1994. Now the definitive, newly enhanced versions of DOOM and DOOM II are available as a combined product.

Buying DOOM + DOOM II you’ll get access to a variety of content, expansion packs, as well as a series of notable improvements.

Now on GOG!

Worth noting: If you owned DOOM (1993) and/or DOOM II, you’ll receive DOOM + DOOM II for free.
Awesome update to a double-barrel of excellent games! Thanks for the free upgraded version, excited to check out all the new and updated features!
I don't get it: Doom 2 - Enhanced doesn't have the new episode? What gives?!?
Refreshing my library fixed it for me. Thank you!

Doom 2 - Enhanced is a different version. The one that has the new content included is named DOOM + DOOM II.

Hey Bethesda.... can we get Doom 2016 now?
Just downloaded the offline installer as I do with all my GOG games. Is there any reason why this is called Osiris 2.0?

When I launch it, I do get DOOM + DOOM II, the actual game. In my Start Menu and on the offline installer, it says Osiris 2.0.

I do intend to use Galaxy due to the multiplayer, but I always backup the offline installer and just noticed this.

Edit: Just checked Galaxy, and it seems to be listed twice.

I loved the enhanced editions pure tweaked DOOM source engine, under an Unity GUI , but, I love this new KEX version. pretty smooth and very classic looking too but more flexible in which res you want and how you want it to be shown, sharper/naitve resolution or more VGA looking.

By default the game comes by default with the official and the most popular and well known wads

But if you have a Bethesda account you are able to use another myriad of mods. Similar to the ingame downloader in the enhanced editions.

Great version indeed

Now the games called doom in my lybrary fill a complete page :)

Does anybody know if this release includes options for the 3DO soundtrack or the PS1/Saturn soundtrack? Would be nice for one of these re-releases to finally bring that back.

Also, does this supoort split screen at all similar to Quake 2's KEX port?

I went to claim the free game available on GOG right now... only to find that the entire top row (with Forager and Oblivion) became the second row (as in the screenshot)... and I have like four more Doom entries. It's getting a little absurd I think. 8 Doom entries.

- The Ultimate Doom (I purchased that)
- Doom I Enhanced (I got it a while back because of Ultimate Doom)
- Final Doom
- Doom II + Master Levels
- Doom II Enhanced
- Doom + Doom II
- Doom 3 (Amazon Prime gift code)
- Doom 3: BFG Edition (Amazon Prime gift code)

Woah, my head's spinning, just what's the difference between them all!?
But uhm, thanks for the free Doom II, Bethesda. Guess I don't have to install D3:BFG for it.

The only novelty in the soundtrack is that you can choose between a new modern digital version and the classic one (MIDI and FM version)

Clownski_: Nope, it'll be a visible as a separate product in your library!
It's already strange to me... Thanks for the clarification and for the new game.

Now on KEX Engine with an already impressive lineup of games. I'm getting more hyped for Killing Time: Resurrected. I always been a huge Doom fan, I really didn't see this coming bravo.
I did NOT expect NightDive remaster of Doom, but I more than happily will accept it - and it makes sense, after all their work on Quake 1 + 2 EE.
The bonus episode is icing on the cake :)

I have 9 with Doom 64 (+_+)
I prefer to have different versions separated like this, than hidden in extras, but they're surely a lot.
I wish they used more meaningful titles, like.. Doom Kex, Doom Unity, etc. Otherwise they all look the same.
Also, the content and free update to old owners seem great, but.. DX12 (according to an user) and Bethesda account required?? Come on..

Such a crappy day at work, and I come home to a nice treat like this!
