Blizzard Entertainment and GOG.COM have teamed up to rerelease select classic Blizzard games, beginning with Diablo®, Blizzard’s legendary 1996 action role-playing game that introduced players to the harsh—and deeply rewarding—world of Sanctuary.

The original Diablo® is available now via digital distribution for the first time ever on GOG.COM. Players looking for the authentic Diablo experience can play the game as it was in 1996, with period-appropriate 20 FPS SVGA graphics, and the ability to matchmake through the classic version of Blizzard’s Battle.net® online-gaming service.

Blizzard and GOG.COM have collaborated on an updated version of the game, which includes out-of-the-box Windows 10 compatibility, and a host of bug fixes. Players can choose either version of the game from a launcher.

Don't know if this has been answered yet, but the original Diablo had Mac support. Not sure about the re-release.

I can't believe how much I forgot.
Is there a key to highlight stuff on the ground and is there a stash or did that come with D2?

'First I finally did the test I failed so long, now Diablo 1 which whas even with Disc unplayable came now on GoG with Windows 10 support I feel like the protagonist of [spoiler]How to date a Magical girl who finally in Coma came to a world where he feels he belong to[/spoiler]

There is no stash.

There was a spell you could cast to highlight the items, but it was added in the expansion: Hellfire.

No stash. You just dump everything on the ground in town. Ah, heaps of gold piles everywhere! ;)

That was introduced in hellfire and carried over to diablo 2 , also you cant run either in the original

Sachys: Guess I'll finally have the chance to experience what people have been going on about.
Its mostly Diablo 2 that people likes the most.

But the fact that this is here is a milestone for GOG and a wonder if we will get the more popular Blizzard games.

I am wondering if someone who bought the game tried installing hellfire , pretty sure it wont run given it has its own patches as well,
