Don't bother. Cyraxpt has become little more than an angry troll. I assume the only reason he still hangs around is because he still has friends here, but he has long since stopped being a positive force in the general forum (if he ever was), bringing bitterness and toxicity wherever he posts. I've learned to just skim over most of his posts.

Thanks for showing this up, so that means GOG still has some work to do or the disabled it for new accounts (2-step) either way, they need to fix this then.

I am not sure, yes he sounds angry. BUT as I indicated with my reply just now, he did NOT just troll, he did show a flaw, which is good and in the right place.
You yourself indicate he was a positive force, by his positive reaction to my post he , at least for me, DID show that he is still a positive force. Yes he might be angry, bitter and toxic BUT didn't he indicated in a rather neutral way some of the flaws? So not being toxic?
If the new CM can fix some of those problems can we not also fix some of our problems? ;)

I wasn't necessarily talking about the number that the forum calls "rep", but rather the non-numerical reputation (not part of the forum software) that people build up by interacting with other people.

Edit: Keep in mind that there are users who aren't trolls most of the time, but who occasionally make extremely offensive posts (I've encountered transphobia from at least one user who otherwise seemed to be decent).

I can show you the flaws of a system that is set in place, other than that is about using your imagination, i mean, by now you should know what is the root of the problem that i mentioned, right? The forum is old and full of flaws, doubt that they could come with the solution that you mentioned without screwing up. I've been there, i've done that. It's hard being "positive/constructive" when GOG doesn't do a thing, do you think this is new? THis is problems that have been plaguing gog for years. You know that flaw that i just showed you that existed? I've told gog about it more than a year ago and probably someone else already have done that previously. I've talked with FIRK about the problems here (ironically after i've asked a few members to send a few messages to support requesting some changes), we were in a good track, i've just asked to remove the anti spam measure that blocks me (and others) from posting links with low rep. He was going to discuss that with the team... ... ... And never said anything back like the rest of the broken promises made by them. At what point should i keep believing that something will change? I seriously don't understand how you people see what's going on in this forum for years and still think that something will change, that gog cares about the forum, c'mon!!! Hell, i'm starting to think that 4chan is more civilized (and moderated) than this forum...

That's why i added the part where they could create an account for that persona (racist/xenophobe/etc) while maintaining the appearance of being a good person. It's not that i don't understand what you're saying, you want the regular folks (non trolls) to have a better behavior but i'm just saying that some of them already have an alt account for trolling purposes, moderation wouldn't affect them much.

Will they ,as you say, screw up? I don't know, but even if they would screw up for a few days, would you care? If the end-result would be working, I would rejoice (and I think you too, or? ;) )

For the problem not being able to post links: As they do already have a system in place which does not allow you to buy gifts if newer as 3 month, I think this could be tweaked to resolve this problem as well. PLUS like in your case (like HunchBluntley indicated not a bad boy by default ;) ) RP might get neutralized.
And some others which have been targeted by certain other scripts as well.

I do have some hopes as for the 2-step system to have working and a some other things they did need to modify the old system quite a bit. Sometimes we do need to provide possibilities and solutions as well:

Does it? I've showed you that it doesn't, sure, i'll probably can't get that account back but i can still make another account to continue whatever i was doing. I've just told you that Gog was well informed about that problem (and others) and they didn't do a thing. But surely you don't believe that this 2SV was made to control the alt accounts situations, right?
I've been here for a long time, i know how things work, i know what this forum used to be and what currently is... I think that you would understand my "bitterness"... But that's the problem, i've told them about the rep requirement and what needed to be done, i was promised that it was going to be looked into... Months and not a single email back...
