NuffCatnip: Im no friend of those "retro pixel" graphics in games, but I have to say I somewhat like how the game looks.
That's because the majority of "devs" doing "pixel art" are only doing so because they either have little artistic talent or just want to do less work and cash in on a trend.

When a dev comes along with skill and a proper sense of art direction, pixel art games can look gorgeous.

Also: wishlisted.

I love the retro-pixeled graphics. I´ll keep this under my radar.
Holy shit. This game is actually a thing. After all these years.

Is this real life ?

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY !

omega64: It annoys me that the discount only lasts until release. What's the harm in getting a discount a few days after release.
Stop inciting preorders gog. :P
Game preorders reward people who don't base their purchasing decisions on journos and online hype. As such, they're a pretty faithful emulation of the oldschool game market.

Granted, they also reward devs for releasing unfinished and buggy games, but that's something GOG is supposed to protect you from (see: Dark Matter).
Oooh, awesome! It's really exciting to finally see signs of a release for this game. I sure hope backers of the Kickstarter have the option to have their DRM-free copies of the game delivered via GOG (if that wasn't the plan already)!

IAmSinistar: Looks interesting. The art style reminds me strongly of Finding Teddy (which I enjoyed) and Titan Souls (which I did not). Will see what the reviews are like when it's properly released.
Hah hah, same here. But this isn't actually by the same devs, despite the visual similarity, is it?

They don't always do so though. :P (see Bombshell)
from the movie alone I can see the carnival level from Chrono Trigger.

No, different folks. Also this looks to be self-published, whereas Titan Souls was published by Devolver Digital.

I still won't buy this one at least until it comes out in full, however. :)

Bombshell wasn't on preorder.
This game probably has the most stunning pixel graphics I have seen, its been such a long time since I first learned about it so glad to know its eventually going to release soon. Not interested in pre-ordering anything though. :)

Ah I didn't know that, it was still pretty buggy though.
I'll retract my previous statement. :P

Don't know about that... I guess it looks fairly interesting, and perhaps even great by modern Indie pixel art standards, but if that's the best pixel art you've seen, you need to play more SNES, Neo Geo or Gameboy Advance games.

In terms of visual quality and sheer detail level, most modern 2D games aren't even in the same league as games such as Metal Slug or the Secret of Mana series.

Anyone who backed this during the KS know whether we have option of receiving a GOG key on release?

In their latest Kickstarter update, they mentioned:

"We'll be sending out the remaining surveys this month, so please be on the look out. This means you get to select your platform(s) and provide us relevant info on your tier and rewards."

So perhaps we'll have the chance to choose that option in the near future?
