omega64: It annoys me that the discount only lasts until release. What's the harm in getting a discount a few days after release.
Stop inciting preorders gog. :P
One more good reason not to preorder!

NuffCatnip: Im no friend of those "retro pixel" graphics in games, but I have to say I somewhat like how the game looks.

One question though, is the music in the game going to be the same as in the trailer ? If so Ill have to pass, it really gives me a headache. :(
The music doesn't give me a headache but that screen shake that occurs whenever you hit a guy might become a problem over time...

Regardless, I've been intrigued by this since the Kickstarter campaign, so I wishlisted it.
Oh, screw it, the art style alone sold me the game; bought it. :P

Thankfully, it's actually *action* and not that typical Western RPG crap of "Real-Time with Pause"...

Then again, I kind of enjoyed Transistor, even if it was turn-based (tried playing it in real-time for a bit; gave up on that soon enough), so I'm pretty sure I can make some exceptions, if the games have something really awesome to offer me, be it story, world setting, art direction or character development. And Hyper Light Drifter seems to at least nail the art direction.
Seems trippy... wishlisted.
Another awesome looking "in-dev" game I bought directly from devs to support them long time ago...
I'm glad we have similar taste for those "in-dev" games, GOG :D

p.s. but what happened to Crawl? I thought it would be the first "in-dev" title, and so far ... nothing :D
Couldn't see a release date for the game so even if it was my thing I'm not a fan of pre-ordering if there is no release date.

I agree. This game looks great. I'll need to see more before I buy it. As for Crawl, I'm also waiting for it, but it is still an early access game.
looks very much like a baby of Sword & Sworcery and (still unfinished) SARCIA...

if it plays like these games, and not like Binding of Isaac (which I suck at), I might consider...
Here is a good look at the game on YouTube:

Hmm I can't say I'm a fan of the art style.
Still, perhaps the gameplay will be amazing.
i'm a manslut for action-rpgs, bought!
So...this is *not* procedurally generated, right? It looks like the kind of game that would be, if that makes sense, but I can't find any info that says it is.

Looks really cool. If it's a roguelite, I think I'll consider it; if it's more like Zelda, I think I'm already sold.

Preordering is bad enough, but doing so without any release date in sight is insane.
Not gonna lie, that artwork looks terrible. I can't tell what I'm looking at. It's just a day-glo schmear.
Sounds interesting. But:
---
Minimum system requirements - Windows: Windows 7 / 8 / 10
Intel Core i5 equivalent
3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 9
4GB RAM
---

Not that my rig could not easily manage, but the game looks rather like minimum i486 with 512 MB ram ;)
