It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

phaolo: Well, at least you finally realized that MS is using crappy tactics..

Unfortunately, clicking the same X for the 100th time allows not reading anything, because X always meant "cancel+close" in such dialogs, not "accept".
The only user's fault is that they trusted Microsoft.
What? I realized it from the get go I saw the behavior. Not because you or anyone told me.

And here's a tip, do not trust corporate in general. Never. They always aim for money.

Do not trust Apple, Steam, or even GoG.

A minimum trust is always needed, otherwise nobody would use those products.
And I surely trust Gog more than other services.
And once again it looks like Microsoft has become even more aggressive in their attempts to force people on to Win10:

Turn off automatic updates until the update deadline has passed. I am in fact not even pluggin my Win7 install in until this has all passed.
MS managed a new low in this in response to the 'clicking x to close means you gave permission to upgrade':
They've removed the x. No more means of closing the window. All you're left with now is choosing a date and time for the upgrade or upgrading rightaway.

Cop: "Police, how can I help you?"

Person: "I...I think I had a break in last night."

Cop: "Pardon, you think you had a break in?"

Person: "That is right, can you send someone round please?"

Cop: "Erm, was anything taken?"

Person: "Yes, my windoze7 was stolen."

Cop: "Mmmkay, was anything else done that you can see?"

Person: "Yes, someone installed windoze10."

Cop: "Those bastards! We`ll be right round sir."
windoze10 fail of the week.

I`ve worked loads of building/construction sites, but first time seen someone fail to install a window on a building ;p

YIKES!

Micro$haft got fined for forcing update to win10, although the fine is more down to lost earnings than it is for the update.

$10k, a pittance to them of course.

A top Microsoft exec says he regrets 'getting too aggressive' over the free Windows 10 upgrade.

Bit late for that now ;p

A quote someone posted from the thread on Reddit (from Wiki):

"The US Department of Justice (DOJ) made no comment on whether it would take any criminal action against Sony. However, Stewart Baker of the Department of Homeland Security publicly admonished Sony, stating, "it's your intellectual property—it's not your computer"."

Darn tootin'! This should still be the case, whether Sony, Microsoft or any firm.
What microsoft SHOULD have done.

1) Not have privacy issues and not remove the group policy editor

2) Offer it totally free, no strings attached not even doing the torrent/file sharing for updates (unless you opted in)

3) Remove the offer, give the population a year or two to really get a feel for the OS and decide it was worth upgrading, especially gamers and those with the highest chances of having issues

4) Offering it free a second time, along with say a free game give away like Fury3
Alas, they seem more intent on "Look, we're most popular OS ever!" & never mention the fact that a lot of those with it probably never wanted it in the first place.

Always seems odd to me, if someone sold something with our photo on it, we'd be able to sue. If someone sold something with our voices on it, same result.

If someone spies on our systems & sells our data...welp, we gave you no option, we own it all!
