For which part? I don't have the patience to pull up the threads for games that won't work if you delete the Galaxy .dll files in the folder, or have to use a modified Steamapi.dll to play the game on Linux, nor the private emails from devs to users stating that they wouldn't bring their Linux port from Steam because there was no infrastructure in place to support existing game functions.

It's out there, but if you want to find it be my guest. I'm not interested in proving it to you. It obviously means more to you than to me at this point for you to be right.

paladin181: It's not an odd argument when you look at companies citing the reason they didn't port Linux versions is because it didn't have comparable support. They couldn't put in the achievements and other functionality, and some of games' functionality does depend on at least the Galaxy .dlls. It's not a strange argument whatsoever.

Metro 2033 Redux
Tooth and Tail
Vikings - Wolves of Midgard
This is also worth looking

Please, don't thank me. :)
DLC downloads are still windows only :'(
This is starting to get ridiculous. We are already up to patch 1.0.4 and the DLC content is *still* windows only. I paid extra for the versions containing this stuff and from what I've seen the Steam version has the content fine, so I'm very seriously considering getting a refund here and switching to the steam version instead.

Not impressed.

Can you post a bug on their forum? I'm banned there for no reason. Literally.

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never
And 0 posts I made. Duh...
I submitted a support ticket (don't think that's what you mean though). No response.

Will definitely use Steam next time, that's for sure.

And patch 1.0.3->1.0.4 would be nice, that's true.
Steam doesn't have these problems by design. But they have DRM. And that sucks, but that's already sounds like an off-topic.
Steam's DRM is optional. Many games run fine without the Steam runtime, you just run them from their directory directly. If a game requires Steam to run that is the choice of the developer.

I still have received no reply to my report. I will not do business with GOG again. Very disappointed that I'm not even worth acknowledging with a simple "we will look into it".

Selling games just works fine on weekends, so it is not asked too much that the rest of the service works as good.

I posted the report a week ago now. Must be a bloody long weekend.

I spoken to GOG staff about the Pre-Order bonuses a few days ago, they said they're aware of it but it's up to the developer to deliver the content.

I can imagine how you feel, pre-ordering a game and not being able to get the items you paid for. I left the dev a message on Steam explaining the missing DLC here, that was 5 days ago and I haven't received a single response. I will email them directly and hope for the best.
My biggest issue is that whilst they may be "aware of it" they haven't even acknowledged it after I have submitted a support request. Also it may be "up to the developer", but it was GOG that advertised the pre-order bonuses as being available on Linux and it was GOG that I paid my money to.
