That too.
According to the dev team, there's now a working Mac version (Linux soon) and it's already available on Steam. GoG people, is the mac version going to be ready soon?

Linko90: Or we're actively working to get it out on without major bugs as the other threads have shown :P
Was it actually available on Mac/Linux on release day (linux seems to have been briefly available) or was it taken down due to these major bugs?

At the very least there could have been a note saying that Mac/Linux versions would not be immediately available. I bought the game (Mac) since supported platforms + requirements are clearly stated as per usual.

If this is something that might take days/weeks please PUT UP A DISCLAIMER on the game page. Immediately.

Why is the information channel ALWAYS the part that fails, be it the local trains or GOG? It's cheap, and it will probably save you support resources and money (including fewer refunds) - customers might even be sympathetic, buy the game anyway and wait until it's availble. Yet most of the companies I deal with seem happy to spend hours upon hours on costly administrative tasks to clean up the mess after the fact, losing money and often their customers' respect (note that this might not be true for GOG in general - on the whole, I love this service).

As @moredread7767 mentioned before, there is a bug with loading game
A bit more detailed here: https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/the-rpg-pathfinder-kingmaker-is-out-with-critical-bugs-in-the-linux-version.12635
Yes, that's not good we have no direct answer from gog team or owlcat and have to looking for answers somewhere else.
p.s.: It would be fun if devs simply forgot about case sensitive paths on linux fses.
So it goes! I can see a linux download link again.
Hope it won't disappear while I'm going home.
Still downloading.
Know what? Pre-order bonus is in win .EXE format! (facepalm)
Anyway, thank you owlcat for working on linux development, Me( and I think a lot linux users too) really appreciate this. Just please next time send some beta linux versions too, not just windows.
As a community we can help you to find bugs like the one, created this topic.
Thank you guys.
Good job, GOG.com!

:D

Oh, well.

EDIT 2: Mac download is up!

Also, devs + GOG staff: Please don't loose sleep or food over this. Bugs happen. It's just that a sentence or two on availability on the store page would go a long way.

EDIT 1: Ok, so there is a note in the comments on the release page. A bit low on discoverability, but I guess it's there... https://www.gog.com/forum/general/release_pathfinder_kingmaker_ba221

Any news on when the Linux versions of the bonus content will be available?

paladin181: Sure for this game. How many others have no Linux version because your team can't figure out Galaxy on Linux to support them?
GOG Galaxy isn't really this 'issue' there. Its not like if Galaxy had a Linux client magically hundreds of Linux games would appear out of thin air.

Sure. But GOG's actions can make Linux users disappear. :)

No, but many of them that did have Steam releases would have come here when their Windows counterpart was released here.
Linux version now seems to be available to download

But again GOG GAlaxy is not 'necessary' to download games. Thus making that a bit of an odd argument.

Ive yet to see any game that went "well im gonna release the windows version on GOG but not the Linux version"

GOGs problem isnt the lack of a Galaxy client on Linux. Its the fact that their intake of game data/patches isn't that great

It's not an odd argument when you look at companies citing the reason they didn't port Linux versions is because it didn't have comparable support. They couldn't put in the achievements and other functionality, and some of games' functionality does depend on at least the Galaxy .dlls. It's not a strange argument whatsoever.
