Today's supposed to be release date for Offworld Trading Company, Mohawk Games' space game. (You might not know of Mohawk Games, but it's the studio founded by Soren Johnson of Civilization 4 fame.)

Who's Christopher Tin? He did the opening music for Civilization 4 (Baba Yetu) that won a Grammy (first for a video game) and generally has had three full-out-awesome albums.

Totally unrelated but isn't there a movie or TV Show with a business with that name? Offworld Trading Company. That name is giving me a itch I can't scratch. :/

There is the other game in the GOG catalog, Off-world Resource Base (ORB)

I want this. Disappointingly (but so typical), it's on Steam today, but not here... despite being in the "UPCOMING" tab on GOG's home page. Clicking the big "PLAY NOW" on OTC's home page just takes you to Steam. I'm steamed already, no thanks.

Sigh I see it's going to be one of those games, just like Bloodborne. Each time I see its name in a thread or heading I get excited because I mistakenly read something else: Blackthorne in the case of Bloodborne and Oddworld in the case of Offworld :P
