I was working towards getting 10 games, and had even been buying games I didn't really want or wasn't in a hurry to get for discounts I didn't really think much of just so I could get that mystery game, but as I checked the front page now I see you've apparently "run out".

So my question is this: Will it get refilled, or is that it?
I got this too and I'm irritated! :-(

Last couple games I just got cause they were under 5 bucks and get me my free game.
I doubt we'll have any more, now the promo is just for the cheap games, not the free-if-you-buy-enough-others ones.

Fairly certain they had made a deal with saying they could offer only a certain amount of them as bonuses.

I just read the FAQ which says they might run out, however unlikely. Just seems a bit odd to run out before the day is up. Oh well, lesson learned for next sale.

Just a little disappointing, but I guess that'll teach me.

That is really shitty of them, not as shitty as the golden joystiq store situation but still shitty.

They had a certain number of units to offer, can't add more unless the publishers accept it, and the sale was so popular that said number wasn't enough.

Seeing how the number of games on sale was fixed and known beforehand (rather than time of sale being fixed), I can't see how popularity of sale could affect the availability of freebies. They should have calculated it so that the regular and freebies run out together more or less.
Or it could mean that they did that, and the regular sale is finishing soon too.

If the original sale was intended to run out by friday, then the 'more games added' should extend it at least a couple days.
It's cool that the sale was apparently "so popular", but I also hope GOG will find a way to get a fresh supply of freebies for the 10+ games people who didn't receive one.

Maybe they just miscounted how many games each person buy. If every person would buy only 1 game they would have to give away no freebie while if many people bought multiple games, there is much more to give away and it can run out.
Ran out of free games. Erm, they are digital downloads, gog should be better than this.

gog if you are going to pull a stunt like this offer customers the entire sale catalog to make final purchases instead of making people sit in front of their computers hoping that something comes up that they want or do not already own.

This is a very sad and poor ending to the sale.

Depends on how much of a ruckus everyone will cause about it.
I thought the big "till the games run out" tagline on the front page was self-explanatory? Nobody knew when it was going to happen, that's part of the rush.
I was never going to get 10. But even so it does seem like a promise has been broken here. They should have said that the freebies where limited (and if they did then it should have been more prominent). No doubt a lot of people were working towards that freebie and now won't get it.
