nijuu: Think it was a bad idea for this game to be put on early access. The amount of grief on steam forums give to the devs.. sheesh
I don't bother with the cesspit of a place called the steam forums. Had I actually posted there, I would've got my account banned 3 years ago arguing with people and calling bad things of steam.

What are the babies there complaining about bugs in a beta? Perhaps, they should have kept their money until it comes out to retail. There's a reason it hasn't been released to retail.
So, far I am loving my experiences and I may have to pass on the D:OS Alpha coming on Monday or Tuesday.

Anyone else having problems shooting at those pods at the AG center? Half the time when I click shoot, my character runs toward the pod instead of shooting. Really frustrating, but still just an annoying bug. Changing my characters to walking instead of running during combat gives me the time I need to grab the guy before it explodes.

"No Demo No Buy". "Why dev's arent working this weekend". etc

Im bit slow playing the beta :). Is there any point to having the Examine option when your entering a cave etc?

Ah, I would agree with them about the demo if it was a retail release. I miss those demos of games, but you can usually find someone posted a video online playing the game...unless you want to purchase it day one. As far as working on a weekend, I won't blame them for not doing something I wouldn't want to do.

To listen to the wonderful sounds of the dot-matrix printer. Boy, do I NOT miss that noise. Right up there with the modem handshaking clatter of the most annoying computer noises ever.

They shouldn´t care about the bad PR, as long as the resulting game will be fantastic!
Kickstarter-based Early-Access-Games seems to get a strange form of feedback, remembering all those 90$-discussions at Planetarry Annihilation Alpha-Release...

Just another sign that Steam community is crap. Good thing that I´m not forced to get in touch with them...
(still not doing Steam...)
Hmm, 60 dollars for 4 hours of content? They shouldv kept this backer only and waited to go early access until they had a ton of playable stuff.

4? I'm on 15 hours and I'm about to finish the first playthrough. 19 hours if you count the 2nd playthrough. If what they say is true that the Beta is only 20% of the whole content, I should be able to net 70-80 hours and that will make me happy.

Four hours of content. Shit I've wasted double or triple that already, I still haven't finished the AG Center, or even started on Hightower. Some people just like rushing through games just to say First, IMO. I like to enjoy the experience. Plus, I'm having a great time finding all the bugs and typos. That would be a great game idea that I would enjoy...find all the bugs and typos.

If any devs would like to hire me, I'll work for food and great games. Food negotiable.

It may be 4 hours, but I think me and cw8 are taking our time enjoying ourselves. What's the rush to get through a game anyway?
As long as theres a good amount of interesting sidequests i'll probably be happy.

It's definitely not 4 hours for a first playthrough, especially not if played on Ranger difficulty. Going through AG and Highpool will probably be a few hours already. The Nomad Camp will probably be another few hours.
Plus I got this thing they call the RPG OCD.

What I've seen looks promising, I'm already given choices at the start. They said that the rest of the game promises to have more choices and consequences.
I am just over 4 hours in the beta and I am about 1/2 (just assuming it though) way through the AG Center.
If only I'd backed another $10. :(
