Let's hope this will actually be a standalone game instead of something played in a browser, like Quake Live.

Ok from what it looks like it will be I guess running the same engine as DOOM so basically same graphics as DOOM, Which means this will run great! but one thing is very iffy is that they all have character traits.. so Is this a game that is going to be like lets say Overwatch and others who share same character system?

This might have me on the not to good side but I want to see how this will effect gameplay first and how this will be better or not then the original Everyone has the same dude and who ever is better is better due to skill and not extra character abilities.

With the new Doom out does that mean we'll get a new Heretic?

Unlikely. Activision has Raven in a ballgag and restraints just in case they need someone to make map packs for CoD.

I'm still waiting for the new Doom. Doom (5)+2026=3D is gonna be awesome. We might even get a free demo.
