When I saw this on my e-mail at work I almost lost control of my bladder. And I received money on my PayPal yesterday that should go on books and stuff, but hell, they don't.
Cue the Hallelujah chorus! You have made my day/week/month etc. I loved this classic library so much, I raised my own kids playing them. And now, I'm a grandma and I get to play with my grandkids these great games! I'm thrilled! Keep on doing your thing, GOG!
Thanks for the excellent news, GOG. You are doing a good Job!
DRM-free classic Lucasfilm/Arts point&click adventures on Linux — pretty nice!

(Even nicer would be to have "THE SECRET OF MONKEY ISLAND™: SPECIAL EDITION" on other platforms than Windows... but I tried the Steam version on Wine and it seems ok...)
Nice! Nothing exciting for me in the first batch but I will give X Wing or Tie Fighter a shot, and Sam & Max Hit the Road possibly.

And I might buy KOTOR again to have it DRM free when it has a better discount(actually I'll have to look at what extras are included, anything good and I might buy sooner)

Thanks GOG!!!!!!!!!

Xwing and Tie Fighter are instant buy for me and I do have these original PC versions in the big carton boxes but I NEVER managed to get them working on my new rigs!!! Thank you very much indeed!!!

Hopefully we'll see more LucasArts games like dark forces series, outlaws, SWOTL + plane add-ons, BOB, jedi knight series, Xwing Alliance and so many other good youth memories of the Win3.11/DOS 6.22 and Win95 era that LucasArts has given me and that GOG has ressurected from the dead:-)

EDIT: How could I forget a game that I played about a zillion times: X-Wing vs. Tie-Fighter
HOLY SHIT! Welcome LucasArts; thank you, thank you, thank you, Disney and Lucasfilm; woooooo congratulations GOG! \o\ \o/ /o/ Woooooooo!

I can't actually believe it, I never thought I'd see the day. Wow, wow, wow. I know what I'm gifting some folk for Christmas! [Hint: it's KOTOR.]

Today is a good day.
Finally. The sad thing is, that now the itching starts all over againg because I want to see which games are released next. :)

Damn, you're running faster than I am. Right now I'm trying to decide which one to play first.
*speechless*
I have been waiting for someone to put out Sam & Max again. They put out some great classics to start, i hope to see Day of the Tentacle include in that list soon.

Well, I am asking that myself while wnating to see the next batch...:D
Good job GOG!
X-Wing and TIE Fighter? Indiana Jones?KOTOR?Monkey Island?
I know plenty more amazing games are inbound, but even if it were just these... Simply one word, mindblowing!

Now which ones should I get first? :)
A great addition that comfortably manages to satisfy both the G and the O of the GOG acronymn!

I already have KOTOR so I wont be getting it again now, but it remains one of my all-time favourite games which I would recommend to anyone who hasnt played it

I picked up the Monkey Island game on a PSN sale but hit what appears to be a game-breaking bug. If the PC version is not so afflcted I think I will be picking that one up.

I'll have to cast my eye over the rest of the catalogue too... be rude not to!
Damn, so many amazing titles (some I do own but want a digital copy of) released. Congrats GOG, you hit the mother load of awesome titles. I have been streaming my copies of the games on Twitch, but I think in celebration though when I can afford it I'll stream the GOG versions (when I have money for them) as my way of saying congrats and promoting them being here with this amazing site. :) I am looking forward to seeing what other Lucas Arts gems you managed to get your hands on. This has cheered up my otherwise dreary day.

If you have a stick, go for X-WIng and TIE Fighter, amazing games, the first time I spent an whole night without sleeping was on X-Wing, at a friend's home, all those floppy disks!
