This is great new I was waiting for NWN:EE to arrive on GOG to buy it again. Thanks Beamdog!

Huargh: They didn't deliver on the promise of adding achievements to the EEs of Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, etc. So it's rather unlikely.

BeatriceElysia: They also didn't add NWN EE achievements to steam version, probably due to all mods you need to install.
They are working on them, AFAIK.

However, I am in absolute dismay at the negative comments. The Diamond Edition has been on GOG for years. If someone wanted it so badly, perhaps that someone should have got it before, you know, a better performing remake came out?

hummer010: As I understand it, the "replace" is referring to the storefront, not your library. If you want the EE version, you'll have to buy it.

You will have to buy the Enhanced version, your Diamond copy will not upgrade.

AB2012: It's usually triple the base price once you account for the missing soundtrack. However, once you factor in lower sales discounts (because NWN:EE is clearly a "brand new" 2018 game), then NWN:EE -50% discount ends up more like 5x the price of NWN:DE -80% discount during a sale...
Cool, so beamdog will be having an extra long beach holiday next year then.
Amazing how Dire Straights managed to predict this company so many years ago...

Thank you for letting us know, I just wish folks were able to get the info a little sooner (though as you mentioned, factors prevent that sometimes). At least the original is still included with the EE.

Also this is just a pet peeve, but Icewind Dale 2 basically being by itself is almost annoying at this point. :P (I know they haven't remastered it because they don't have the source code.)
