IT'S YOU!

;D
I hate the bundle policy of gog. It would be nice if some bundles had a steady discount no matter how many games you want to buy. I don't want to buy all of them and the "build it" bundles while good, I think they are very restricting. I don't want to buy 12 Interplay games, I want to buy 5. But the thing that bothers me more is that none of these games are ever seen out of a bundle. I have never seen, at least not recently, Kingpin (for example) in a good, stand alone discount. I mean more that 60%. I am not greedy and I don't ask for a 90% discount, as it is if you buy the whole bundle, just something in between now and then. I have seen it around 2 euro in the past after all. The same goes for many other games/bundles, not just Interplay.

I don't like it too but.. that's the point of bundles.
They discount more, only if you take more.
For example, I just want Telltale's TWD1 + WAU, but I'd need 6 games to enable the best prices.

It is understandable. yes.

But lets get to the second complaint of mine. Lets say, I am ok with the bundle policy. But why do we see the same bundles again and again (ok, almost, not every time) and we don't see some of these games individually discounted. For example, I can sense an YS bundle is around the corner. Probably with the same prices as before. I just want for once those games, or some of those games to be sold in a discount individually. It would be very good for GOG, I believe, to have different bundles in every major sales. That would add variety and many games would have the chance to get a bigger, individual discount.

All the games currently on sale outside of the bundles are "bundled" with a steady discount (it's like one huge bundle). The point of bundles is to give people incentive to buy more than they otherwise would.

I wouldn't mind some variance in the bundles, but for bundles to remain effective the price for bundled games needs to be lower than that of the individual games. If you get the Y's games for the same price individualy during the autumn sale as you did for them bundled during the summer sale, then bundling would loose some of its incentive, making bundles less effective. So buying a game´as part of a bundle is likely gonna remain the cheapest way to get hold of it. If the price is too high for the individual game you could always wait for the price to drop, although it will still likely be cheaper as part of a bundle.

Wow, the first time we can buy part of the full Interplay bundle at full discount without having to buy all games, great! And you don't have to buy 12 games if you already own games in the bundle.

It's not the first time, during one of the recent sales (Back to School I think) it was the same story :)

Lol, I didn't relize it then.
Seems to me that GOG even tackled the bundle discount complaint today, writing "UP TO" there :)
Has anyone played Apotheon?
Is it good or just average?
Sadly, I don't think this bundle sale is for me. The build your own bundles are better, but for getting the bigger discount I have to buy games I already have on Steam (mostly from Humble).
While I like GOG and prefer to have my games here, I haven't reached the point when I pay twice for the same game, unless those games are so epic, like Commandos 1&2 for ex. (if you haven't played those you're missing a lot).

Well, there's Winter Sale next month, and this one is still at beginning so you never know what might come up.
Everyone, have fun!

ooooh, Jack Keane 2 is only 1,99$.
