Digital_CHE: And that is why I want that this Leaderboard XP Fun thing must become a permanent feature..

During the entire year you can level a lot if You want to participate..

I barely reached the position #82

HunchBluntley: God, I hope GOG never introduces a permanent, account-integrated XP system. I'm okay with it as a temporary promotional measure during the sales, but I really dislike the idea of making buying things into a ranked competition. I will be angry if they try to implement something like Steam has, with "extra" features locked behind earning account XP. I don't want a "gamified" user account, and I doubt I'm alone. Some people who actually switched from Steam to GOG came here in part to get away from junk like that.
Well... I remind You that You are not forced to participate in the OPTIONAL Leaderboard XP game..
If You don't like it, just ignore it.

I really like the idea of making buying things into a ranked competition... I see it like an extra motive for the purchase.

I would pay full price for a game I like on release date ONLY if that gives me a good amount of XP... (And if it is a Linux game, even better.)

I thanks GOG for the wallet system... I can store a good amount of money for the Christmas sales

And I think the people who switched from Steam to GoG did it because Steam is DRM and not for the cosmetic account XP system.

If there is something like Steam here, is not the cosmetic Leaderboard game; it is the GOG galaxy client, which is mandatory for the cooperative side of Shadow Warrior 2 (and other games, I think).
All in all this has been a good sale for me. I like the format of the sale and that every offer stays valid until the end of the sale (beside the bug(?) with the timer of some bundles which expired 12 hours too early and a few games where the discount silently has been dropped during the sale).

But I do not like the "new" bundles. So far I've been a fan of game bundles. They were easy to grasp with a unique, often high discount for all included games.

These new bundles with individual, different discounts for each game are complicated and confusing. Paired with local pricing and it's lack of information they are a real pain as you have to add a bunch of games to your basket and check it out for every single game to see how much you effectively have to pay for the game. And for the bundles were you have to buy all games to get the better discount you do not even have that chance.
This is probably the first major sale were I did not buy any bundle.

Please give up on these confusing bundles and switch back to bundles with a unique discount on all games. When there are games you do not want to sell with a high bundle discount just exclude them from the bundle as before.
I actually didn't like the format. I understand it's to get people to buy more games then they would have in the first place. Most of the games in bundles where discounted less then they have been previously, and only when you added most of the games in a bundle to your cart did the price of the games come down to what they have been in previous sales.

So much truth in these words.

The bundles' wording can be seen as confusing at best and misleading at worst. Combine that with fairly "meh" bundles this time and you can see why this sale wasn't so awesome as the previous major sale (although the freebies were uber nice)

Taking for example Team17's bundle: Several cool older Worms games that I could be tempted to buy with their decent discount ( I think it was 75% off) but they were in a bundle with a newer much more expensive Worms W.M.D. that had a modest discount tacked on. It doesn't feel like a great sale when calculating the averages my purchase is only 30% lower than full price.

Numbers pulled out of my ass, mind you. I do not remember the actual values but I remember how disappointing it was.
