Still, hey, thanks for bringing back Kryp. The town and the game both are better with him back in it.

Welcome. Though since I seem to be one of the only ones that was watching and understand some of his videos points I was a little annoyed when he came back and refused to post anymore. But overall it is a better game with him in it.

I think Sage you see from reactions why you might have wanted to keep that reveal in your pocket another day...
No big deal, though.
But think of poor BookWyrm... he's probably thinking to himself... "What am I, chopped liver?"

Anyway, I don't think Sage should answer more questions about it. Period. Increased clarity at this point on Sage's ability would seem to help scum significantly more than town.

In any event, I was still interested in how many people acted as if they had missed the implication.

@Leonard – I asked earlier, but I’ll rephrase the question. Do you see a difference between your contributions so far in this game and the last one? From my perspective it’s noticeably different. I’m curious as to why. Speculating on roles and how they work is interesting, but it does little to help find scum. That’s the only thing I saw you contribute prior to being called on it. At least in the past 24 you’ve provided some thoughts on players. When trying to account for the difference, I keep coming back to – scum struggling to post.
When it comes to the subject of lynching lurkers, I’m much more concerned in the overall quality of posts, not the quantity.
I find it strange that your PM does not explain why you are a Nexus. But I also don’t want to be too quick to fault you for something that could be outside of your control. I remember how hesitant ddickinson(?) was to share her flubb-generated name in the milk game. I do find interesting that this role is considered to more likely hurt town if the player is town and more likely help scum if the player is scum. If you are town, revealing may have been the most town thing you could do.
@yogs – Here’s to a speedy recovery. I hope it’s not truly torn. Sounds like a real bitch from those I’ve observed.

I like how, again, I posted without refreshing and seeing Leonard's claim. Interesting...
yogsloth: That's a good one. Impossible to test or refute. Gonna save that one for the future someday. You should give adalia lessons. :) I think yogsloth said it well. Unfortunately, Leonard's claim does nothing to his lynchability.
CSPVG: Well, that's rather specific. I'm not really willing to call your bluff. Therefore, Unvote: Leonard03. However, CSPVG disagrees. Just because of the specificity of Leonard's claim?
CSPVG: Krypsyn: Would you be willing to share more of your flavour, as (I think it was) Sage suggested earlier? I think that was me, actually, but it doesn't really matter.
Krypsyn: I've been here all my life (which has been fairly long), and there is no way I am leaving. I was here before this place was even large enough to be called a town. All these whippersnappers are moving into town now and changing the place, but I have skills I can use to get rid of them. If only my eyesight were just a little better... And that blows my theories out of the water. Oh well. On to something else.
It does sort of feel like this is an attempted deflection of attention.
Really, my problem with lynching Leonard now is his lurkiness. Because he has given so few opinions, or anything of content, we won't get much information if we lynch him, and who knows what might happen tonight with the role madness that's going on.
Wow. Powerful words. And she definitely pulls it off. I had wondered if there was a role like this somewhere in the mix.
Sage103082: I am sharing my information because if I get NK it is better to know it.
I like this town even though I know there is a lot of not so good things going on in it. Not a lot of people know me but I am kinda like glue and keep it together. I have no problem doing everything I can to help the town. because of that I am able to convince people to reconsider there move and come back
Sadly - You will not be here for the end of the game. You will stop existing and fall back into the hole which you came when night falls. Interesting, because this could, theoretically, be a neutral or scum role. I don't feel like that's likely, but the possibility is there, and Sage doesn't rule it out.
Amusing. It says that she can convince people to reconsider their move and come back to the town. I can't help imagining her following Krypsyn into some nether realm and 'convincing' him to come back to the town for a day or so. The flavour is pretty bizarre when you consider NKs rather than lynches/
Why is that? Just because of the other stuff going on right now?
That's what I assumed when I saw Vitek's post letting us know that Krypsyn would be sticking around.

Lol - and people say I have crazy, overwrought theories.
I was tempted to answer Cristi's question to Leon about flavor, since it's one I had been thinking about in terms of the bigger game, not necessarily specific to Leon. But I'd very much like to see Leon's answer first.

*grin* Sorry, once the possibility occurred to me, I couldn't help mentioning it. I actually think that you are town.
Some thoughts on Leonard's claim.
I am going to assume that Leonard actually is a 'Nexus'. I feel this to be a safe assumption because there was no indication in OP or anywhere else of a role like this, and it's too obscure for him to simply come up with the role. Besides, if he's town, he shouldn't be lying about his role, and if he's scum, it's awfully dangerous to claim a role when you don't know if there might be one in the town faction.
So if Leonard is Town Nexus, the role intro on mafiascum.net says that this is often not a good role for town, so a policy lynch is often called for. Besides, Leonard has still been a lurker for most of the game, offering no good content and nothing to get a read on.
If Leonard is Scum Nexus, then the role intro on mafiascum.net says this is an advantage for scum. And, of course, if he's Scum Nexus, we should lynch him because he's scum.
So the present problem for you, Leonard, is that, if we assume you actually have that role, we need to lynch you regardless of your alignment.
I'm not going to vote yet, but I definitely will if it looks like we might have a no-lynch.
@ Krypsyn did your role PM say whether you would kill yourself if you missed a vig shot, or would you just miss and have to try again another night?
If Krypsyn did kill himself because of his incompetence, then we do have an interesting question as to where is the NK. I assume that dedo was killed by a third-party arsonist, because scum don't (generally) NK their own scum-buddies.

I see it's your first game of Forum Mafia.
