Perhaps could have been explained a bit better, but I do get the point and thus wouldn't dismiss nor rate down OP for it. Assuming of course we're dealing with genuine concern and not agenda of its own.
That GOG sells some games mentioned by fellow Goggers is one thing, saying that there is an agenda to it would be making an unfair and and untrue assumption. In that I would more gladly point the finger at (not sure about Steam) but a certain movie/series platform's productions promoting/pushing certain things that are not, shall we say the norm (feeling like I'm walking on eggs here).
At the end of the day, because again it all comes down to personal choices: buy or don't buy, watch or don't watch anything one feels gets pushed/imposed upon and they bulk at.
But again, GOG as I know and am aware of, is about selling games and not pushing agendas.
