I'm considering moving over to GOG since Valve/Steam has sold out to GLAAD.

Is it any better here? I just want to play games without the two genders being bastardized.

what do you mean by sold out?

does it interfere with the launcher?

from a games point of view: there are games. they're drm free. there's a launcher but you don't need to use it if you don't want to. they should be pretty much the same games
sometimes the updates take longer to get to gog than they do to steam
sometimes there aren't achievements if that's your jam
steam has a much biggere selection, gog is more curated (cuts both ways)

Achievements aren't a concern. I'm just looking for alternative to Steam. I've been banned from that game's discussion for merely criticizing the obvious, which later resulted in an unwarranted community ban.

Bad news for you: At least two games on this site, Ultima 3 and Elminage Gothic have *three* genders.

(Also, adding a third gender to a game in no way affects the first two; rather, it serves to expand, rather than limit, the player's options.)

I could also mention Undertale with its non-binary protagonist.

There is no third gender. One of the two genders is always used regardless of what some non-binary persona tries to convince themselves or others of.

My problem isn't directed at games targeted at 'non-binary' personas, it's agenda based organizations like GLAAD that adopt popular themes knowing that they'll be popular because of the theme and not the GLAAD nonsense.

The LGBTLMNOP stuff is then credited as the reason said game is popular.

This is valid criticism.

I got banned from the Steam TemTem board by someone from Steam Support just for politely pointing out that they are a small sample of the population and GLAAD inflates the number of alphabet people in the media. Other people there were banned just for saying there are only two genders.
It's happened a number of times now and only when the topic of GLAAD/Alphabet Inc is addressed. I heard Valve hired an SJW mod or two a while back.

Encased also features three genders.

I mean, someone is classified either as binary or non-binary. No intermediate positions. It just settles a different sort of "binarism"...

Perhaps could have been explained a bit better, but I do get the point and thus wouldn't dismiss nor rate down OP for it. Assuming of course we're dealing with genuine concern and not agenda of its own.

That GOG sells some games mentioned by fellow Goggers is one thing, saying that there is an agenda to it would be making an unfair and and untrue assumption. In that I would more gladly point the finger at (not sure about Steam) but a certain movie/series platform's productions promoting/pushing certain things that are not, shall we say the norm (feeling like I'm walking on eggs here).

At the end of the day, because again it all comes down to personal choices: buy or don't buy, watch or don't watch anything one feels gets pushed/imposed upon and they bulk at.

But again, GOG as I know and am aware of, is about selling games and not pushing agendas.
