Greenskins and crossbones

Man O' War: Corsair, an open-sea action/exploration game set in the Warhammer universe, is available now for Windows and Mac, DRM-free on GOG.com with a 10% launch discount.

What will you do with a drunken goblin early in the morning? Maybe toss it over the portside? But that might attract an enormous monstrosity from the depths of the Old World and your ship is not big enough for that yet. Better keep the little bugger close, he could prove useful when you are navigating your ship in the middle of a raging storm. Or when you are boarding an enemy ship full of Dark Elves, regretting your decision not to sink it while it was in your cannons' sights.

Evil Twin Artworks aim to deliver an experience with the thrills of naval warfare and perilous exploration that longtime fans of the tabletop Warhammer games expect. When Man O' War: Corsair is finalized, both the campaign mode and the free-roaming features will have been tweaked and refined so that players can do combat aboard a slew of different vessels, hire mercenaries from a variety of races, visit over 50 ports, and conquer the waters of the Old World both during daytime and nighttime. According to their plans, this will take approximately four months, unless a giant sea-monster pulls their offices into the abyss and swallows the crew whole. But that rarely ever happens.

Raise your sails and drop anchor in the blood-stained oceans of the Old World as you become a Man O' War: Corsair, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 10% discount will last until April 22, 2:59 PM UTC.

If you go to the link below and scroll to the bottom you can enter your PC details and it will test if you can run it. However as it is an early release the aim is to optimise and lower the minimum specs as we go if possible. :) http://manowarcorsair.com/earlyaccessinfo/

vicklemos: Hi devs!
I don't think my requirements fit (the recommended ones, I mean) and I'd like to give this stunning game a go.
Is there a chance, even remote, that the game will run - once out of games in dev or something - in a somehow weaker machine?
Btw I'm poor. Btw I don't see myself buying a new pc soon ;P
Thanks!
We're going to be optimising the game as it goes along - it should currently run on fastest settings at the minimum settings but as we're still in development there are going to be hitches and fps drops.

Hopefully once we're closer to release we can look at lowering the minimum requirements, but it'll depend very much on whether we can have a stable FPS on anything less powerful.

Luned: Not ready to commit the cash today (too much backlog), but definitely I'll be keeping an eye on your progress. Best of luck for a smooth development process!
Thanks, we will be around to chat all the way so feel free to jump in and ask questions when you are ready!

Retarded jokes aside, it's an i5 @2.6ghz/6gb and a mobile nvidia gpu.
Btw this game looks stunning. Lights are so cool and the naval action seems pretty intense.
Once again, my crappy pc won't run *just right* this goddam awesome looking game, crap!

Yeah! Once again, thanks a lot. I've read the requirements once again and I think the game won't run bad on my end.
ps: do you folks plan on releasing it on current gen consoles?
Thanks again!
low rated
another piece of early access/paid beta crap.

shame on gog for bringing it here
shame on the developer for offering it here
shame on those that paid to beta test it

I don't go for early access products myself - but why crap all over this game's thread - instead of simply ignoring it?

If you think there's too much EA stuff coming here (with which I might not disagree); why not post it in a general thread about it? And leave the title-specific threads alone.

(I'll delete this if the crap is deleted out of the quoted post)

Umm...

You do know he copy/pastes the exact same complaint on every single thread about In Development games, right?

It's just background noise at this point.
Well, this certainly looks interesting. I'm going to wishlist this and keep my eye on it.
Sorry for my english, i'm french and I have trouble with English. Evil Twin Artworks thank you proposed your warhammer games in gog.

I'm a fan of Warhammer I just finished dl and I am trying to install.

I tested the game on a g75vx with cg 670mx nvidia gtx and an i7 processor.

I'll let you know if it works well on my pc.

I want to know other languages are they provided in the game in addition to English (not necessarily the same as french would be a plus for me ^^)?

Thanks again.

Have you ever beta tested anything? Having deadlines over your head, needing to write proper reports, having to do the same thing over and over again because you got a new build, so you have to check again everything you've done so far?
Early Access and/or In Development is nothing like beta testing, other than the fact that you are playing a game that's not feature complete.

Will have to remember to ask you the same thing every time you paste your post, at least until you remove said line.

P.S. How do you know it's crap without playing it? Or are you one of those that did pay to play this version?
