Grargar: As far as this bundle is concerned, neither Call of Juarez: Gunslinger, nor Grow Home require a Uplay account.
Far as I understand, Grow Home is also DRM-free on Steam.

Nope, it needs Steam client.

vicklemos: Regionally locked? Really?
Really. The storepage seems to be this:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/19810/
I can't access it, though (see image below).

vicklemos: What about "Nemesis of a Roman Empire"? Is it locked for you?
Yup, same deal. The storepage is this:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/433290/
But no dice. (same result as Sum of all Fears).

Same in here, but for Nemesis only. A friend actually complained in there, since there's at least 5 oe 6 countries where the game just can't be purchased. Weirdly enough, it's up for sale, drm-free, on the publisher's store.

I really like this Haemimont game and I'd love to see it here.
Unless the BTA get's upgraded with awesome, I'll grab the 1$ tier for Call of Juarez: Gunslinger next week. Right now that's the only title I'm really interested in...

The game seems to be available only on USA, Mexico and Canada:

From what I gather, these are the only territories that Enlight has a right to sell their games through Steam and that's why it's regionally-locked for everyone outside them.

Wonder if it's better than its prequel, Celtic Kings: Rage of War.

I think it is. It's more fluid and stuff, and the units are quite memorable. Celtic is somehow a bit more sluggish...
Plus, it's forever stuck onto his wishlist, and he sez he'll only delete it "if it's available in here" ;P

ET3D: Considering that the game is available on GOG, it's mainly a question of cost vs. your dislike for the client. I'd say that if you want to play it right away (not add it to the backlog) and the low price is what enables you to buy it, then go for it. Otherwise wait for a sale. According to IsThereAnyDeal it went for $4.99 on sale here several times in the past few months.
I don't dislike Uplay as I do dislike Steam, in fact its offline mode was quite solid and it lasted me enough to finish Watch_Dogs when I was offline for those dreaded 5 months. However, I still am very wary and cautious of what could possibly happen if I run into the offline world. Though I've been told that Rayman Origins is DRM-free, which should be a nice kicker. I hope it isn't Origin-like though: would need to be activated through Origin first and then it can be played without Origin installed. Like, I mean pure DRM-free. Now I have a decision.
I wonder which game they will add next week.

I think it would be Far Cry Blood Dragon, Rayman Legends or some random PoP game.

Forget PoP. Ubisoft has certainly forgotten that franchise.
Okay. I've got Rayman Origins (thank you, ShadowPatriarch!)
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=6415CEF5FC0EACBE!3299&authkey=!AB4Kt8TY2C434zo&v=3&ithint=photo%2cpng

Now now, I need to do the following steps before I ensure it is really DRM-free:

1. Move to my other PC via the network shaing
2. Play without linking it first to U-play

If it works, I'll call it DRM-free.
I may well do the $1 for Call of Juarez as well. Rayman Origins is very fun, but I have it on this other site you might have heard of.

GOB or something. GOOG?

Someone said the BTA was initially $5.00 or so - would've paid that for FC4, but it was $6.50 by the time I checked, and is up to $8 now.

if it really was fc4 I would say get it for $8, but i've seen fc3 for sale at $5

Lol, right.

Funny thing is I was going to mention I own FC2 and still haven't finished it, so why rush into paying $8 to play the sequel, which is, uh...which one I can't quite count that high apparently.
Finished downloading Rayman Origins today. I threw the game folder into a USB stick, and then threw it to my other PC which doesn't have Uplay aware of the game's existence, if not Uplay itself, and it ran. Therefore Rayman Origins is indeed, DRM-free, and not only that, but it doesn't require any registry entries to work on another PC or installation.

The kicker is of course you have to obtain it through Uplay, downloading the client and key redemption and then downloading the game itself. Unless there is a UplayCMD, that's the only way to obtain it. Fortunately, I believe you can wipe out Uplay thereafter and play the game, after all, you getting online and obtaining a game on Uplay doesn't change the universal impression that Uplay sucks.

Speaking of Uplay itself, it got a visual lift. Looks like an app that would fit on an Android tablet, which is to say it looks beautiful, more so than Origin or Steam now. However, it still doesn't follow the visual theme of your OS (like Windows 10's title bars). So yeah.
