Hello, I ordered some games and paid using my paypal balance. My paypal balance have been deducted but I haven't received the games I have ordered. I waited for two hours but still nothing happened. So I opened a dispute in my paypal. Then I received an email from JuriJ that in order for them to process my order I need to close my dispute. Problem is once the dispute in paypal have been closed it cannot be reopened again.
I've never used PayPal so help me out with a few things.

By "Dispute with Paypal" does that mean you are requesting your money back from them?

Well the thing you should have done is written to gog support. They sort out problems when a game does not appear in the account after the payment went through.
What Moon said. Contacting support will go far in getting your games.

Well it is weekend meaning that they have a smaller support crew and in addition the huge sale going on, so there are more tickets to process than usual. It takes a while.
GOG is a legit and trusted site, but sometimes people have problems with payments not going through and stuff, esp. with credits cards.

I don't remember seeing a thread where somebody who honestly paid for something on this site didn't get their money or games back when technical issues happened, so I'd honestly recommend closing the Paypal dispute. JuriJ is one of the support guys who handle stuff, so if he's on your case and you close it, you'll get your money or the games back, whichever you decide.

Edit: And yeah, because it's a small crew, you're actually happy to have received a response back on the weekend - usually they don't work on weekends at all, adhering to the normal European schedule of working Mon-Fri only. If they're manning support during weekends now, it's new! :)

Also you can't really expect an answer within few hours, even on big sites it usually takes a day - at least with sites like The Elder Scrolls Online support.

Shame. Contacting the store/retailer should always be your first course of action and when that fails, take your dispute to paypal. FYI, GOG support has a pretty good track record in solving these issues to the customer's satisfaction.

You know that it's weekend and with a large sale like this the support staff might overwhelmed? You can trust GOG to deliver the games even if something went wrong, you just need to be patient. Paypal disputes are rarely the right way.

Well, and I'm totally speculating here, if you filed a "dispute" it means the money is being held up, call it limbo for lack of a better word, which means GOG hasn't officially received their money. They seem to have recognized a problem with the transaction and obviously have your games and are whiling to give them to you, but not if you are holding up payment.

Once the dispute is closed and they get their payment they will give you the games.

Even as I don't use paypal, GOG has always delivered. The problem is that paypal is quite often causing problems, (check forums with searching for paypal ;) ). BUT if you dispute GOG con not do anything. Nada Nothing. The payment is frozen. And for sure you don't expect GOG to deliver for free or?

It sometimes can take a few ours (IIRC the worst case was 2 days for Paypal) to process the purchase correctly.
A bit of info, when you finished your last click, this doesn't mean everything has been processed, now the real work starts. Paypal has to acknowledge to GOG the money and I think that is were it was/is hanging. But could also be on GOGs side as the servers are quite busy during sales.

But the worst thing (here in this case) was to dispute/freeze the process.

If you are afraid you will not get the games, don't worry ;)

EDIT: Just typing a bit more and being ninja'd a few times.......

They've had Support staff working on the weekends for quite a few months now -- possibly even since last year some time. It's just a skeleton crew, though.

In Poland this weekend is even longer than usual as there was our national independence day on Friday.
